We were upgraded to an apartment and it was amazing - spacious, comfortable, luxurious. The hotel is small, but has everything - good breakfast, wonderful staff (especially Boyan who was very kind and helpful and recommended many beautiful spots in the area), and a small spa, which is booked individually, so we enjoyed an hour in the spa to ourselves. There is a free parking in front of the hotel and it's close to the black lake. We've had an amazing experience and highly recommend this place.

The location of this historical hotel is one of its best assets. It is located at the entrance of the national park, close to the main attractions but away from the noise, and immediately next to a natural spring water fountain. We could hear the water flowing while sleeping, which was very relaxing. The hotel is fully equipped and the room was very comfortable. The host was very accommodating and made our stay a very smooth one.

I have stayed in many 5 star hotels in different parts of the world, the hotel structure is incredibly clean despite being old. It is much more difficult to keep an old structure clean. Star, star, star, many thanks for the cleanliness. The staff are attentive, especially the gentleman at the restaurant who was incredibly positive and sincerely interested in us. (I apologize for not remembering his name) He added incredible warmth to our holiday. Since the hotel is in the center, we had easy access to everything.

Situé au cœur de l'impressionnante région montagneuse du Durmitor, à la frontière de deux parcs nationaux classés au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO, l'hôtel Polar Star propose des appartements... Visited with kids and on the first day rhe kids got sick and we had to leave early, so the staff helped us with everything and even charged us just for basic costs, and then we forgot some personal items while in hurry they went out of their way to ship it to us. I can say that this is one of the most friendly staff I have ever encountered in my hotel stays so far. Also the food in the restourant is amaizing. I highly recommend this place!

I don't often give a hotel 10/10, but I cannot fault this hotel. Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms and I really liked the asphetic of the room - lots of wood but also very modern. I was also able to park my motorbike in their yard.
