Located in Rīga in the Vidzeme Region, 100 metres from Latvian National Opera, Grand Hotel Kempinski Riga features a spa centre and sauna. First I have to mention the kindness and creativeness of the greeting/concierge staff. They made the stay special, especially for our child. Second, the pool and sauna area were great. The space is available for children between 10am and 4pm, and to all 9am-9pm, which is a good way of pleasing all clients. The pool was +31C, and there were three saunas, an ice tub and experience shower. All sparkling clean. Our room had views on the Opera House and the avenue, and yet it was well isolated. No noise at all from the corridors either. No noisy air conditioning. A nice writing desk, and good reading lights. In the common areas we really appreciated the beautiful and tasteful Christmas decorations, still on in the first days of January. At the buffet breakfast you could also choose dishes à la carte (eggs, waffles), free of charge. It is convenient, you can just sit and enjoy.

Absolutely fabulous hotel, very well located just off the main street, close to all the restaurants and shops and only a few minutes walk from the beach. Very clean and spacious rooms.One of if not the best Restaurants in town with impeccable service and very professional staff. I also have to say a very special Thanks to the receptionist Natalia, she is the heart and soul of the hotel! Definitely recommend to anyone and hope to return some day.

They even let us check in a few hours before the official check-in time since we had arrived earlier.

Perfect location in just 15-20min walking distance from concert hall "Vidzeme". They have a guaranteed parking lot, not just public parking space nearby. It was a tranquil place, we even didn't hear neighbors, just saw their cars. Make sure you've picked up some food when returning to the apartment. Otherwise, a 15-minute walk to the nearest food shop is guaranteed.

Beautiful place in amazing Vidzeme region of Latvia. Beutiful winter experience, which can also be amazing in other seasons of the year. Splendid landscape and estate itself. The location close to the rocky seaside of Vidzeme on the Gulf of Riga is the main advantage of this property. The hotel building itself is also quite nice, everything is still relatively fresh.

A fantastic hotel in the heart of the city! Spacious rooms with stunning views, and the sea is just a few hundred meters away. The modern pool with hydromassage, bubble zones, and a cocktail bar is a perfect relaxation spot. There are various saunas for every taste, with the Turkish-style sauna being exceptional. Delicious and diverse breakfast, a free gym, and impeccable service.
Lovely place to stay, really quiet and perfect for gateway! Everyone are really nice and friendly. SPA is awesome, prices are reasonable, room to relax really peaceful. Nice add, swimming pool and sauna are open for children just till 18, for us is always good.

Very near bus station. Also very near to old town
Wellton has small and cosy spa with multiple saunas, jaccuzi and family atmosphere. Breakfasts give excellent choice of plates and opportunity to get sated.
