It was easy to find the apartment. Quiet neighbourhood, close to the shopping mall, and some dining places. There are almost everything you need for a short stay.
Washing machine, daylight/thin curtains and some kind of heater would be a nice thing to have.

In march the was not much happening in the town.
In march the was not much happening in the town. Rates Varti restaurant was cosy but the dishes were served almost cold. The lunch in the Wolmar Hotel cost only 6 euros beeing well worth it. The Olympic Casino was a strange place for gambling addicts.

Pleasant small city with an indoor shopping mall and a surprising number of attractions. The hotel restaurant is quite good, and other restaurants are within a moderate walk or an easy drive. Reasonable parking available near the church and the shopping mall.

Valmiera is amazing, beautiful and calm city. I enjoy it every time l visit. If you are tired of busy Riga, need some peace and still need all city comforts and don't want to go too far from Riga - Valmiera is a great choice. You can find here anything you need and can enjoy peaceful atmosphere of this friendly and cozy city.

I have been there couple of times before, but i really enjoyed parks, area around castle ruins and also Daliņi park next day. The food was also pretty good, we visited one place during the evening and one next morning - both were good. Well, some bar or brewery is missing in Valmiera to get some more tourists- youngsters. And im pretty sure that in close future it will be much more beautiful because are around castle ruins and also theater is under reconstruction right now.

Quiet, beautiful, clean and with a very nice atmosphere. There is wonderful theater, good restaurants (Rates Varti is my favorite), nice parks, quiet and clean streets, museum, church... near Valmiera there is a wonderful park along Gauja river. There are many places to see!

The OK Hotel in Valmiera has become my first choice, this was my third visit. The room is very spacious, the bed is really comfortable and it's easy to reach. The only thing that would make my stay better is if they served breakfast - I would be willing to pay extra for such service.
Nice apartment, though the building from outside and inside (staircase) looks old and not much promising. Fully equipped. Nice balcony to sit outside. 12min by walk from Valmiera Bus station, supermarket on the way. Around 20 min to the city center by foot.
Everything was very good. The room had everything you needed and the hotel staff was very attentive and helpful. The breakfast was rich.
The hotel was located in a good area and all sights were close.
The star of the hotel was definitely the parrot.
This is the perfect place to stay in Valmiera! The flat was much bigger than we expected. Everything was super clean and comfy. Very good location. Definitely staying here again on our next trip!
