Villa Santa ligger i en historisk sanatoribyggnad från 1918 och har en trädgård, en terrass och en bar. Detta 4-stjärniga hotell erbjuder gratis WiFi och rumsservice. The location was a bit difficult to find due to Google Maps not showing accurate directions. But once we found it, it was paradise. Absolutely gorgeous location nestled in the woods. All three buildings are charming. The staff were great. Breakfast was amazing, as were the cocktails. Our room and bathroom were very spacious, with plenty of windows and natural lighting. Everything was tastefully arranged and decorated. Since it is in the woods, make sure to take mosquito repellent so you can enjoy the outdoors. I hope to go back some day!

The Baroque style manor house Ungurmuiža, is the only wooden architectural monument of the 18th century preserved in Latvia. The guest house offers a cosy accommodation with free private parking. Location was perfect- right next to Cesis city. Super friendly staff. Amazing restaurant.

City Center KaķB&B ligger i Siguldas centrum och erbjuder rum med gratis Wi-Fi samt fritidsaktiviteter som skidåkning och cykling. Nationalparken Gauja ligger bara 5 minuters promenad bort. För att vara 2-stjärnigt så blev jag glatt överraskad av mottagandet, rummen, storleken på rummen, städningen och det som ingick. Det fanns givetvis tv, fritt wifi och en liten kyl i rummet. Intill ligger ett café där frukosten serveras vilken inte är kontinental inspirerad men bli inte orolig, det fanns mycket att välja på. Om man inte gillar katter är kanske det här stället fel. Cafét heter Kaķu māja som betyder katthuset och inredningen är därefter.

Det miljövänliga Karlamuiza Country Hotel ligger i en gammal herrgård. Här finns rymliga sviter med separat kök och sovrum utrustade med moderna hushållsapparater. The breakfast and dinner were excellent. The food we were provided was delicious and presented superbly. Thank you. The surroundings were pleasant to relax in and to walk in. There was a comfortable atmosphere with a nook to sit in and read. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Hotel Sigulda is located 300 meters from the train station and offers homely rooms with satellite TV and free Wi-Fi. Surpassed my expectations. I'm not sure why this hotel is rated as a 3-star; the service feels more like a solid 4 stars. Rooms are really clean, and you can tell the plumbing is new. They even provide slippers, tooth sets and several different pillows, which you'd expect from a higher-rated place. The spa is small but comfy, with a hammam and a hot sauna. Breakfast is not mind-blowing, but it's decent. The staff are helpful and polite, the restaurant has a good menu, what more could I want.

Hotel Cesis is situated in the very centre of the town, near the city park, and offers free Wi-Fi. The hotel’s cuisine offers a range of Latvian and international dishes. Everything. Especially the location. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
