I spent three nights here. This is the best accommodation I have been to in the entire trip. Moreover, it was super clean. It was raining so I just relaxed, took walks around the village, saw the local life, looked at the wonderful views from the room's balcony and laid down at the hammock. The owner and her family are the best. I felt like home. I would usually go to eat at their restaurant. It was yummy and had a discount for the guests. I enjoyed my time there also with Sara, the daughter of the owner. She was always willing to learn English, play and meet new foreigners. I'm sure if you want to play with her she will be very happy. I recommend this place to anyone that wants to experience the village and have a peaceful, warm and enjoyable stay.

Situated in Nongkhiaw, Meexok guesthouse provides accommodation with seating area. This guest house features air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace. We stayed here twice during our time in Nong Khiaw, when we first arrived and then again after doing a 2 night hike. The staff let us leave our luggage there during our hike and it felt secure. The man at the reception was always there and smiling and happy to help. The rooms were spacious and clean. Good location, walking distance from restaurants and walking trails.
