The trek was challenging at times but the destination was beautiful and the food and drinks by the river in the evening were magical.

He is passionate about his job, he knows so many things about nature, life in the jungle, history of Cambodia and much much more. He was never tired and always happy to share all his knowledge with us. I can only fully recommend this amazing human being for your next adventure in the jungle😍 Thank you, thank you, thank yoooooooouuuu!!!

FamilyHouse & Trekking Home Stay offers accommodation in Banlung. The guest house has a sun terrace and views of the mountain, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. This is a great place to stay if you are looking for bit of rest or trekking in the jungle. The family has its own tour agency so everything can be booked through Homestay. We took gemstone mine, village and lake tour. I really liked our guide, he was very knowledgeable and felt like a friend from the very beginning. Great English and you can tell he is very familiar with the area. The homestay itself is located in a peaceful village 20min walk from Banlung town. It is surrounded by avocado trees set in a beautiful garden. There’s a good cafe just across the road, and great hotpot restaurant nearby. The owner offers free pick up from the bus station. He is very nice and attentive with perfect English, going an extra mile to accommodate the guests. Great stay, I hope to be back very soon!
