The trek was challenging at times but the destination was beautiful and the food and drinks by the river in the evening were magical.

A més tenen un restaurant maquíssim on fan uns menjars boníssims, de manera que per molt bon preu pots esmorzar i fer els àpats que vulguis allà mateix. El més increïble és el tracte de la Thyda i en Rithea, la parella que ho porten. Són encantadors i t'ajuden en tot el que poden i més. Amb en Rithea vaig fer un tour per la zona visitant cascades i un llac molt bonic. La Thyda em va trobar un grup per fer un trekking increïble per la jungla i també m'ha gestionat els bitllets d'autobús per a la meva propera destinació. Sempre amb un somriure immens. Moltes gràcies Thyda i Rithea per fer que l'estança a casa vostra hagi estat tan meravellosa.🥰.

Secondly I want to talk about the trek in the jungle, I've done the 3 days 2 nights. What an amazing experience!!! Smey, our guide, was the most knowledgeable person! He is passionate about his job, he knows so many things about nature, life in the jungle, history of Cambodia and much much more. He was never tired and always happy to share all his knowledge with us. I can only fully recommend this amazing human being for your next adventure in the jungle😍 Thank you, thank you, thank yoooooooouuuu!!!

FamilyHouse & Trekking Home Stay offers accommodation in Banlung. The guest house has a sun terrace and views of the mountain, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. This is a great place to stay if you are looking for bit of rest or trekking in the jungle. The family has its own tour agency so everything can be booked through Homestay. We took gemstone mine, village and lake tour. I really liked our guide, he was very knowledgeable and felt like a friend from the very beginning. Great English and you can tell he is very familiar with the area. The homestay itself is located in a peaceful village 20min walk from Banlung town. It is surrounded by avocado trees set in a beautiful garden. There’s a good cafe just across the road, and great hotpot restaurant nearby. The owner offers free pick up from the bus station. He is very nice and attentive with perfect English, going an extra mile to accommodate the guests. Great stay, I hope to be back very soon!

Mr T and his family and friends are so kind and welcoming! This local stay was amazing to experience some of the Cambodian culture. Everything was perfect, it’s the place to be in Ratanakiri!
