The hostel is located in the heart of the old town, which makes it an excellent base to explore this part of Mombasa. The architecture is in line with the houses around and gives a feel of what it's like to be in a traditional house. The view from the terrace to the sea is amazing and the drinks served are delicious. The staff at the reception is very friendly and helpful and did their best to help me identify other accommodation and recreational options. The shared spaces and the bathrooms were clean and well maintained.

The hospitality of this host is is a top notch, the host kept in touch to make sure that my stay was peaceful, the apartment is so clean and what you see is definitely what you get, I'd tell a friend to tell another to book this place, it's definitely worth every penny. You can access all social amenities minutes away from jovial homes (the beach, supermarkets and etc). I'm definitely coming back to this place not once or twice but anytime I visit Mombasa.

Self catering apartment, within walking distance of Nyali center and city mall, where there are supermarkets and restaurants. Good location in Nyali, little far off the beach but easily reachable by car or tuktuk. We booked the whole apartment for four people. Communication with the management was spot on and Anne helped us with some pizza delivery problems and to get an early morning transfer to Mombasa terminus. We also got to check in early which was nice.

My first stay in this hotel and I must admit it was a pleasant surprise. The hotel was amazing and thoroughly enjoyed all they had to offer. The rooms/bed were comfortable, the aircon in our room was fab for Mombasa weather, the activities provided were fun and the staff could not do enough for you. I had 2 bookings to accommodate my family, and they've all had a great tym. I'm already planning my next stay as I write, lol.

Lovely resort with rooms and entire apartments. The complex is charming and the staff are great. It’s located in the affluent area of mombasa and although there is no beach the great views of the city and the channel as well as the convenient location for exploring the city on the other side of the water more than make up for it. The tamarind restaurant in the complex is amazing; one of the most highly rated in Mombasa

This is a true hidden gem. The location is peaceful yet close to amenities, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The apartment features massive rooms, a spacious balcony with stunning ocean views, and comfy beds for a restful stay. The hostel is wonderful the manger is the best and the staff are very cooperative and the interior is wonderful even I got a locker to store my belongings safe and a kitchen where I can wash my plates after use. Really enjoyed the air condition that keeps the place cool through the night that was wonderful since I did not sweat through the night, I will be back anytime I'm looking for a stay in mombasa

The apartment was well equipped with all the facilities needed to cater for a family's stay. The location is great, a couple of malls at a walking distance to it, great security, and clean pool. The building is PWD inclusive, with working elevator. The host TJ is awesome, helpful and responds to issues with speed. This is definitely my new go-to place in Mombasa!

This is such a hidden Gem in Mombasa. A very quiet location close to a creek which you can access on foot. The staff were wonderful and ready to answer all of our never-ending questions. It is close to a highway that can take you to Malls, other beach hotels and other amenities along the Beach. It is a 10 minute drive to Nyali Mall where you can dine and enjoy

The hotel is located in the city center of Mombasa and provides easy access to the old town and the Fort. The hotel is in a high-rise building with a security guard. Despite the old building, the rooms were clean and sufficient for a one-night stay. One positive aspect was the handheld shower in the bathroom. The breakfast was modest but adequate.

The property is located right across from the beach with Spectacular views. It is beautifully decorated with a luxury vibe. The Host Ms. Catherine is a very professional, lovely and caring woman. You will have absolutely no regrets staying at Emirates Reef Apartment 5D. This is actually the best place to stay in Nyali Mombasa …. Thank Me later!😬

The apartment was clean and well kept and in a very beautiful environment. The host was responsive at all times. During my stay the host did send her staff to do cleaning. Internet connection was very much okay. I also appreciate the fact that tap water was fresh and not salty. I'd definitely stay here anytime I'm in Mombasa.

Said went above and beyond to help us from initial contact to the end of our stay. He truly is a super host! The apartment is well located, comfortable and has all the amenities. Great location and Great Staff Cowrie Shell Beach Apartments in Mombasa offer a beachfront experience with direct access to the ocean, a well-maintained swimming pool, and spacious rooms equipped with comfortable beds. I have praised the friendly and helpful staff, as well as the on-site restaurant's quality.

The rooms are clean and big. We always had a big continental breakfast which was served on time. No power blackouts. The waitresses at the dining room would offer the room service chapchap when requested physically. Hotel is conveniently located along Moi Road just near the Mombasa Tusks monument.

Amazing host for starters. The place is well organized and very clean. Accessible to all facilities ranging from supermarket to a very nice gym. It's also very close to Kenyatta beach. If you're in Mombasa on vacation this is definitely the place to spend your time. Worth every cent.

Super helpful and kind staff, excellent breakfast, and a comfortable room with good ac, a nice bathroom and a comfortable bed. The rooms at the back are quiet enough even though the hotel is on the avenue. Very good place to stay if you want to explore the coast using Mombasa as your base.

We enjoyed our stay, the house is very clean, airy and in a secure location. The Kitchen was well equipped with a modern Fridge, microwave and stove. James one of the Staff was very friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be visiting again if we ever go back to Mombasa, Kenya
