The interior's clean and beautiful, I was so impressed that despite having an extremely long journey to get to Mima City, I still found myself run around the place to take photos. In addition to that, the staff here were extremely helpful and attentive. They helped me with everything, from arranging and communicating with the taxi driver, providing breakfast even when I check out early, giving advices about places that I want to visit to helping me with the booking of new flight ticket when my flight got cancelled out of nowhere. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Very friendly owner and staff and the food was great! We stayed two nights and got completely different meals for dinner, which were both fantastic. You can go to the next door hotel for nice open-air onsen and mention the ryokan and get a discounted entry ticket, and the onsen is really nice.

In few minutes by car it is possible to reach Mima renovated old streets and it is also a good spot to stay before going to Tsurugi mountain. While the staff who helped us to check in does not speak english he used a translator and things went really well. All the staff was very nice with us.

We had a very big room for two nights after finishing the Shikoku pilgrimage. We could take a god rest before turning back to Germany. The breakfast also was very good!
