Would definitely stay here again when I come back to Nara. Nearby the train station, so very convenient as well.

The staff were so amazing and friendly, even though they didn’t speak much English they went above and beyond to help with translating and making us feel welcome. This was a wonderful experience and a great place to stay.

I had expected the place to be a hotel and only realised after arriving that it was a traditional Japanese inn. The hosts were fantastic. Communication was with translation by iPhone but everything was clear. The inn is traditional so be prepared for the futon bed and the shared bathroom and washing facilities. But it's also small so we did not need to queue or wait. We were also provided with traditional dress which we wore to the craft beer bar close by. The hosts were wonderful. Everything from arranging a taxi to advice on what we needed for the hot spring bath in the village. The breakfast and dinner (it's an inn so both are included even though breakfast is mentioned only) were amazing. It was at a level I would expect in an expensive restaurant here but felt like you were in a home and not a hotel. The area is great for hiking and the village is just super nice. Great ice-cream place nearby also. All in all it was the best weekend break I have ever had and I have loads of memories - my advice is to go there and just immerse yourself without expectations. Again the hosts were amazing

I would definitely stay here again.

Located a five minute walk from ‘Nara Park’ and the main shopping/dining streets, Hotel Asyl Nara is conveniently central. Helpful and friendly staff, nice Onsen and delicious breakfast - all for a very good price! Room was spacious and quiet. A lovely, little shop with local gifts in the lobby. Added bonus was the Saturday night, Golden Week free bar. Family oriented and cozy atmosphere.

This is a family run ryokon and every member of the staff was exceedingly friendly. They went out of their way to make sure our stay was amazing.
We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Pagoda. The location was great and we could walk to the Nara Park and to the best restaurants in the area. The staff were super friendly - it was raining and they even lend us umbrellas.
The hotel was wonderful and the staff were amazing. The room had two twin beds but also a Japanese style sitting area, which we loved. Our room included dinner on two nights and they were the best meals we had. They were one of the highlights of our stay in Japan. The hotel is very close to the train station and the park. Breakfast was including in our meal the food was amazing, had most things and so fresh! We loved all the facilities onsens, indoor pools and communal facilities. Would recommend it to anyone with children/families wanting to stay somewhere with pools and onsens. The staff at the facility were great and hopeful when ever we had any enquires.
Great hotel near the train station. Also helpful staff who held our luggage before the check-in. Lots of restaurants and shops in the street. Information centre at the station was very helpful for all the sightseeing in Nara.

The staff at Hotel Nosegawa was amazing. I casually asked if there was anywhere I could get oatmeal and soy milk and the next day when I came down, they had gone all the way into Koyasan and got me oatmeal and soy milk. Wow, I was shocked, that was above and beyond and totally unexpected. Such a generous group. The public bath was clean and enjoyable. In addition, the free shuttle to Koyasan was super convenient. We really loved our stay and would highly recommend it.
Výborná možnost přespání v Naře. Hned vedle nádraží JR (pozor, ne Kintetsu!), které je sice dále od atrakcí, ale v pohodě se dá dojít. Hotel v tradičním stylu, na podlahách tatami, dole k dispozici onsen s vnitřním a malým venkovním horkým bazénkem, večer k dispozici zdarma pití a soba noodles, pohodlné matrace (ne klasické tenké futony).
