Amabilitat de tot el personal. Habitació molt amplia i comfortable, fins i tot amb un sofà de massatges! Bona localització a prop dels principals atractius de Miyajima com el tori flotant. Onsen a l'hotel, una experiència genial. El sopar i l'esmorzar (pots triar entre oriental i occidental) també ens van agradar molt (et donen opcions vegetarianes amb un petit extra). Tenen un shuttle que si vols t'acosta a la terminal del ferry.

La situació es excel·lent per visitar Miyajima. L’hotel es a pocs metres de l estació de tren, del metro i del ferry. El personal es molt amable. L’esmorzar es correcte.

Very polite and helpful staff and amazing facilities with the best room view!

I had one of my best travel experiences here at Kikunoya! The place is a traditional inn where you can enjoy a Japanese style tatami floored room, they provide yukatas and slippers for you, and you can use the outdoor or indoor onsen too. Everything is provided for this such as shower oils and creams. The receptionists were really friendly and we had a great conversation with them in Japanese (but don't worry, they can explain everything you need in English). There is also an outdoor foot bath combined with a cafe menu, the whole atmosphere is pretty, clean, emphasizing nature and traditional designs. Breakfast was also traditional style with many small dishes, and they provided an English explanation of everything and how to eat it properly. The location is a little bit uphill but close to the center (it's a small island after all). The rooms were spacious with a tea table and built in closets next to our futons. If you're thinking of making a Miyajima day trip, I definitely recommend staying for at least one night just for the ryokan experience.

The host made ourselves feel like at home. The room was very cosy. When we arrived she gave us all the tips for visiting the island, including tide schedule. We had private access to the onsen for 1hr for the whole family. The day we left, it was raining heavily and the host gave us a lift to the ferry station in their private car. La senyora Shinko, que gestiona aquest petit ryokan des de fa 37 anys ens ha tractat a cos de rei, super amable i atenta. El sopar que haviem contractat, tot molt bo i ben presentat, amb algún plat amb influències de la cuina fancesa, com l'ostra escaldada en una crema de llet aromatitzada.El sahismi deliciós, una tempura impecable i uns niguiris d'anguila que no hi podien faltar. Vam tastar un parell de sakes, reconano el Dassai, millor que un d'una edició que van crear per una visita del Barak Obama. L'esmorzar japonés fantàstic i delicat. Comentar que l'aparença exterior de l'edifici, un pèl deixat, no fa justícia del que a dins experimentaràs.

Amazing experience in a very nice Ryokan! The building itself is amazing, very close the the main interest points. All the staff is simply wonderful, they will do their best to make you feel at home. Last but not least, the food: I highly recommend to eat both dinner and breakfast at the ryokan: one of the best foods tried in Japan!

We were delighted by our room and the whole ryokan. It had real authentic Japanese feel to it. The view from the room was magnificent, we were looking right at the torii gate. The dinner course was superb and very diverse. We aslo enjoyed the private onsen.

Tot.La habitació es molt maca,amb 2 futons molt confortables i una tauleta per menjar.A fora de l habitacio hi ha una cafetera amb algunes galetes per esmorçar i un microones.La senyora es un encant,ens va informar dels horaris de restaurants i altres informacions d interes. Sota de la casa esta el Lawson i l habitacio estaba just davant del port.Ens va fer un regalet a l arribada.Tot un detall.Molt recomanable.

We had an amazing stay here. The location was quiet and well located. Although the hotel is a bit older, it’s extremely well-maintained and full of charm. Our room was beautiful, and the futon beds were much more comfortable than expected. We also loved the comfy yukatas provided. The public bath/onsen was small, but we had it all to ourselves when we went, which made for a peaceful experience. The included dinner and breakfast were fantastic! We requested a vegetarian meal for one of us before arriving, and it was no problem at all - the vegetarian menu was just as varied and delicious as the standard one. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. After check-out, we were able to leave our luggage at the reception for a few hours. When we picked it up, they even offered us a free taxi ride to the ferry terminal.

We stayed in the deluxe room with a private onsen (spa bath). The setup of the room was fantastic with a small shower before the onsen to quickly hop in and out of the bath throughout the day. The location is a 5 minute walk from the water which means it's nice and quiet away from the bars. It's also a short walk to the Itsukushima Jinja. We had both dinner and breakfast at the hotel, both were fantastic all you can eat buffets and with our room we had a special hot plate of abalone and vegetables cooked at our table which was delicious. The onsen was already being filled by the time we got to our room and operated without issue while we were there. Room had plenty of amenities and the drinks in the mini bar were all complimentary. There are plenty of good places to eat near by and a convince store within the hotel. I'm unsure why this place has as low of a rating as it does. It was a fantastic stay and I wished we stayed longer.
