We loved our stay at Gion Elite Terrace. It's perfectly located within walking distance from the train station, restaurants, bars and many of the sites we wanted to visit in Kyoto. It's located on a quite and quaint street. The rooms were spacious, clean and the beds were very comfortable. We loved the coffee bar in the lobby. The staff helped us with restaurant recommendations and reservations. I also love that they are an eco-friendly hotel. I will recommend this hotel to all of our friends planning to visit Kyoto.

Ideally situated in the centre of Kyoto, ALA HOTEL KYOTO features air-conditioned rooms, a fitness centre, free WiFi and a restaurant. ALA HOTEL KYOTO is super awesome. First of all, the location is near Kyoto station, probably 5-minute walk from train station. Secondly, all the shops you want are around the hotel, such as convenience stores, shopping malls and restaurants. Moreover, the bus stop is not far away so that you are able to take bus to any attractions in Kyoto city. Finally, there is a nice and clean public restroom on the top of the building. In conclusion, I highly recommend ALA HOTEL KYOTO to everyone and I will definitely stay with the hotel again.

In a prime location in the centre of Kyoto, Kyoto Umekoji Kadensho is within 1.7 km of Kyoto Station and 1.8 km of TKP Garden City Kyoto. This hotel was basically a whole wellness experience dream come to life! The staff were so nice and friendly, and the amenities were everything you could possibly need and more. The onsens were beautiful, immaculate and clean - and the hotel breakfast was definitely one of the best meals I’ve ever had! The late night soba hit the spot and the snacks were endless (popsicles, yakult, drinks in the lobby machine). Also loved the super comfortable yukatas and pjs that the hotel provided. It’s easily walkable distance from a JR station (just one stop away from Kyoto station), and there are multiple bus stops within a 5-10 minute walk that can take you all over Kyoto. It’s across the street from a 7-11, and right next to one of the prettiest parks!

The location is great-- close to Keihan Shijo station and other bus stations. Walkable to Gion & other attractions. Convenient stores nearby & you can walk along the small breek in a good weather. The room is very spacious and nicely set up too. I particularly loved the amenities. The staff is super friendly and helped a lot with our questions. Everything was great!

Perfekt sted for å utforske byen, med Sky buss (hoppe på og av) i gangavstand like nord for togstasjonen. Anbefaler dette hotellet, som også har god pris.
Dette hotellet er en herlig kombinasjon av moderne stil og tradisjonell japansk sjarm. Fasilitetene er toppmoderne, samtidig som hotellet bevarer den unike atmosfæren fra japansk kultur. Personalet er fantastisk og alltid hjelpsomme, noe som gjør oppholdet enda bedre. Beliggenheten er også sentral, noe som gjør det enkelt å utforske Kyoto. Jeg anbefaler dette hotellet på det varmeste, også for familier med små barn!
Helt fantastisk beliggenhet rett ved flere severdigheter. Han som jobbet der var utrolig hjelpsom, hyggelig og passet på at vi hadde det fint på hotellet. Takterrassen hadde fantastisk utsikt. Veldig koselig å se solnedgangen med utsikt til Yasaka Pagoda. Anbefaler alle som skal til Kyoto å overnatte på dette hotellet! Beste overnattingsstedet vi hadde i løpet av våre 3 uker i Japan.
Enkelt å reise rundt i Kyoto med Gion-distriktet som utgangspunkt. kort vei til kollektiv transport, gangavstand til en rekke butikker og restauranter. To dobbeltsenger, vi var to voksne og to tenåringer- det gikk helt fint! rent og pent, med liten kjøkkenkrok hvor vi lagde frokost. Hotellet er litt utenfor de travleste gatene, hvilket passet oss bra.
Kyoto
Det føltes mer som et hotel enn et hostel, rommet var stort til å være Japan, sengene var veldig komfortable og beliggenheten er rett ved Nishiki Market i en veldig koselig gate. Kommer til å komme tilbake her ved neste besøk til Kyoto!
Et veldig fint hotell for prisen sentralt i Kyoto. Vi betalte ekstra for større seng noe som definitivt var verdt det. Dusjen var også veldig god. Gangavstand til mye og svært behjelpelig personale.
Veldig bra beliggenheten, 5 min ifra hovedstasjon i Kyoto. Det var også koselig med felles badet, mye mindre enn det som var på bildet:( Elsker gratis manga de hadde, stor pluss!

Er et bra hotell for første gang i Kyoto og for solo reisende, enkelt å finne frem og ligger ikke langt unna metro. Hyggelig personell og trygt område.
Romslig og rent. Var meget lett å komme seg fram til hotellet. Like ved Kyoto Station, så hotellet lagg meget sentralt.

The location was perfect, the food delicious (especially the breakfast buffet- truly incredible), and the staff so thoughtful and kind. I can’t imagine a better stay!
Fantastic location, inside the Kyoto Station, which helped a lot to move around everywhere. Even though, train station noise is not heard from the room, so sleeping and relaxing were fine. Staff is also incredible and helped us to forward our luggage and gave us tips about what to see around. Our stay at Granvia Kyoto was unforgettable, and we are already making plans to come back. Thanks everyone to make our vacation so special.

Beautiful location on the waterfront. We were upgraded at no extra cost to a beautiful room with Japanese seating area, lovely sea view. Breakfast was extensive with both western and Japanese choices. A lovely spa area too. Staff were friendly and very helpful.
The location was everything!! It's walkable to many major tourist spots like Kiyomizu-dera. Also good for those who wants to get pictures with the Hokan-ji pagoda in the early morning without anyone. The room was cute and have everything you need for your stay. Plus the staffs were so super friendly, helpful and good in English. I will definitely choose this hotel again for the next visit in Kyoto.
