The location of Hotel Granvia Kyoto was absolutely incredible. Situated literally atop Kyoto Station, it provided unparalleled convenience for exploring the city. This central position meant easy access to transportation, allowing us to effortlessly travel to any destination in Kyoto and beyond. The hotel's prime location was undoubtedly one of its standout features, making it an ideal choice for travelers seeking convenience and accessibility.
The room was absolutely stunning and larger than most apartments. Very high quality toiletries and skincare, and beautiful hinoki bath. Breakfast was excellent with so many options. Hotel was conveniently located next to Kyoto station and walkable to Gion and restaurants.
I appreciate the helpfulness of the staff in dealing with unexpected problems of a personal nature. The rooms were absolutely clean, fully equipped, with all the amenities one needs during the daily routine on a business trip. The refrigerator in the room is a great advantage, but also the deodorant for clothes, especially on hot and sultry summer days in Osaka.

The best location! In front of Yasaka Shrine, walking distance Ninenzaka, Senenzaka, Kiyomuduzera, Nishiki Market and a lot more. 1 train to Fushima Inari, 1 bus to philosophers path. We watched the sunset at the nearby river while drinking coffee, had walked throught the streets of Gion at night, walked through temples in the morning. Starbucks at 1st floor and outside is full of japanese street foods. Good hotel breakfast, the rooms were clean and big enough, good ammenities. Loved my stay here for 5days in Kyoto.
Best budget hotel I've stayed in. Huge room with sofa, confortable bed, super clean. The hotel looks like an art gallery, the staff is super friendly and the buffet breakfast is delicious and healthy with homemade smothies, and granola, roasted veggies but also great eggs and meat. Great attention to details, with complimentary bath salts, umbrelas to borrow and use of bikes. Metro stations near. Super quiet also. Would definitely stay there again.
