The hotel staff are very polite and the rooms are very clean. The hotel is excellent for those who want to stay away from the noise and want a more reserved stay.

Our stay at this hotel exceeded our expectations. The room is spacious considering Japanese standards and is super modern and clean. Unfortunately we didn't get much of a view though.... The hotel has a restaurant, bakery and rooftop bar. All of which are fantastic! The bakery serves fresh and delicious treats every day. While the restaurant is al a carte and the food insanely good - get the bolognese! The rooftop bar is spacious and comfortable and provides a view of Kyoto. All staff are friendly and super kind throughout the hotel. The location of this hotel is exceptional. There are many bus lines and a train station just down the road, while Kyoto station is only an 10-15min taxi or bus ride away. Furthermore, it's situated within walking distance of top attactions like Kiyomizu and Sanneka/Yasaka Pagoda. Honestly the best hotel I've stayed in and can't wait to revisit Kyoto so I can stay here again.

From the moment i arrived i was welcomed with smiles, the hospitality was fantastic. The hotel itself was amazing, clean and posh. Best hotel i visited in Japan so far. The breakfast buffet was very good. Large choice of food options and quality is very good. Subway is connected to the hotel!
Location is right in the middle of most of Kyoto's main attractions. The room is quite spacious with large enough table to eat or use as office space. They provide toiletries, pyjamas, and 'customizable' house keeeping. Free newspapers. Free regular shuttle bus to central subway station + lots of food and convenience stores. Reliable access to taxis (never had to wait for one while there).

(Almost) Everything was perfect. Room has a big space, tolet is great, bath room is exeptional, staffs were friendly and polite. They even has a Nespresso Coffee maker in room! My room was beyond my expectation it's definately an art in a form of hotel room. Breakfast is decent they are really clever with the use of ingredients, there aren't a wide spread of buffet line but, there is enough option and almost everything was delicious. Whenever I comeback to Kyoto in the future, it's no-brainer to stay here again.

You can tell the age of the building from its look. But we have our best stay here during our trip. Great location, right across the road from the station. Great food. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel, it’s so special and delicious, better than the high ranked restaurant we found nearby. Great view. You can literally stay in Ama-no-Hashidate. Quiet, private, without street light at night. The onsen is spacious and well maintained. Very comfy bed. Highly recommended.
