Situated in Iriomote, 200 metres from Nakano Beach, NEST Iriomote features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a restaurant. Breakfast was very good and varied every day. The host (family) is very friendly and helpful and made good recommendations for restaurants and organized respective reservations.

Taketomijima Akaneya is located in Taketomi. The accommodation features traditional Okinawan red tile roofs and traditional Taketomi-style decor and amenities made from local woods and grass. This folk house is unique and pretty exquisite. You would be surprised by exploring this diverse and elegant space on a remote island. I mainly used LINE and AI tool (e.g. POE) to communicate with the house owner Iwamoto. He would take the initiative to take care of you, such as your intinerary, personal belongings and safety. Don't be shy to seek his help. He is very nice.

Situated in Iriomote, 400 metres from Tsuki-ga-hama Beach, Mayagusuku Resort features accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. What an amazing place. The apartment is roomy and very comfortable and has a big balcony with a breathtaking view, over the garden and bay and also the nights sky. It is great to have a couch in the living room to relax and the bathroom is big with a nice shower. The owner is very kind and helpful and knows just enough English to be able to arrange everything you need. There is free snorkeling gear, which we used for Ida beach, and we also did a snorkeling tour with the owner which was great. We got a private tour to some very nice snorkel spots with no other people/boats around. Saw a lot of sea turtles too! The location is great, as said with a gorgeous view. Having a car is recommended though as this makes getting around on Iriomote much easier. Cant recommend this place enough!

Amazing view and places to relax in hammocks. Super accommodating staff who helped us book dinner reservations and kayak tours since we couldn’t speak Japanese.

Located in Iriomote, 1.3 km from Sonai Beach, Hotel Hoshitate Iriomotejima provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a restaurant. Absolutely stunning location!! I’m so glad I upgraded to a beach view room, gorgeous view every morning~ the breakfast (Thanks for making a British cup of tea for me!) and dinner was delicious! Beachfront was perfect, gorgeous view and plenty of sealife to spot! Chuhai in hand watching the sea was perfect. Loved sitting on the beach sea swing further down the beach! You can go on the roof to view the stars, I’ve never seen so many stars (and Milky Way!!) before~ stunning!! ⭐️ The nearby town is 10min walk and has an amazing restaurant Katagiri, I recommend the mobudofu and gyoza. Hotel owners were friendly and helpful!! Trip was cut short by a day due to typhoon and hotel owners were so helpful with everything. Wish I could have stayed longer!! Will definitely be back~ thank you so much!!

Located in Urauchi and within 600 metres of Maruma Beach, 杜屋 西表島 features a terrace, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. If u like nature u get woke up by exotic birds, you can see tge sunrise from the terrace. The food and drinks are good. Bed was comfortable , shop and rental services and ferry nearby .

Set in Iriomote, 700 metres from Maruma Beach, リゾートイン西表島 offers accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking and a bar. From the reception I felt so welcoming by bon san , staff seems professional in their duties , jego san thank you for making my 2nd day fruitful with koora waterfall and sup as I had no plan and was In confused of how to utilise the time

Located in Iriomote, 100 metres from Tsuki-ga-hama Beach, Ilmare Unarizaki provides accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The views were spectacular. The beach in front of the hotel was lovely to swim at and the water was nice and warm (May). The beach around the corner by the view point was gorgeous. The staff were extremely helpful. They gave us great recommendations for snorkelling and kayaking tours, advice on restaurants, directions, bus service and booked our reservations. Free pick up service from/to ferry. They spoke limited English and we spoke no Japanese (just a few pleasantries) but they used a translator on their phone to work out what we wanted. Nothing was too hard. There is a dive shop there which does boat tours out to the dive spots. You can also hire an SUP.

Set in Taketomi, within 400 metres of Nunasha Beach and 1.4 km of Kondoi Beach, Hotel Peace Island Taketomijima offers free WiFi. Hoshizuna Beach is 1.4 km from the hotel.

Located on Iriomote Island, Iriomotejima Jungle Hotel Painumaya offers air-conditioned non-smoking rooms with river and jungle views. Free Wifi is available at the lobby. The view and location of the hotel were out of this world. The staff was also very friendly and tried to help, even though they had some problems understanding English.
