This hotel is located in the bustling city center, offering neat and clean rooms. They have a private parking lot right behind the hotel, which makes parking very convenient, and there are nearby banks for currency exchange, which is also very convenient. We arrived early, and the service personnel at the front desk came to the parking lot to assist us with check-in and also introduced a reassuring currency exchange bank. The dinner they specially prepared was exceptionally delicious, and breakfast was also very diverse. The owner and chef were very hospitable, explaining how to enjoy their prepared delicacies. The city center is inevitably noisy, but they made every effort to ensure that guests were not disturbed. I could also feel their dedication to managing the hotel. Property well maintained, nice swimming pool, and restaurant offers a very reasonable evening dinner (our first night we had chicken tagine for 8.50jd, generous portions, they also serve beer and wine). Our room had a very comfortable bed and extra pillows, clean bathroom and a small balcony. Staff was very welcoming and helpful when we needed to get some laundry taken care of. A breakfast buffet, served at their rooftop terrace with wonderful views of the city, many options (eggs, sausage, beans, hummus, cucumbers, tomatoes, cheese, several kinds of bread, jams, pancakes, yogurt, coffee, tea, juice - we stayed three days and we could always put together different dishes and not feel like we were eating the same thing) On our second day we enjoyed lunch at Ayola Cafe which had been recommended by another guest on a previous review on booking. It was a good hotel to be based out of to visit mount Nebo, Ma’in hot springs and other places around the area

The Salome is a 2-star hotel in the historical city of Madaba. This hotel offers spacious guest rooms, friendly service and free Wi-Fi, all in close proximity to the centre and the famous mosaic map... The staff is super friendly and professional. Breakfast is just great, both continental and mid-eastern. The hotel is a 10 min walk from the city center. We would definitly stay there again and warmly recommend it.

Located in the heart of Madaba, surrounded by the charm of its historic streets and within walking distance of key pilgrimage and tourist sites, Saint John Hotel offers a perfect blend of modern... I had a wonderful short stay at St John Hotel. The staff were all absolutely lovely, and extreme helpful. The hotel is in a great location for visiting the historic sites of Madaba, and has a wonderful restaurant on the top floor. I only wish I could have stayed for longer.
