The location is fabulous. Being able to stay in the historic zone, walking distance to all the sights and restaurants was just amazing. The trulli house is just the right size, equipped with all you require and surprisingly very warm in winter time. We had the heating switched off most of the time. The staff were very attentive and breakfast at the cafe was very nice.

Perfect location from the marina, which was a minutes walk. Parking was free. The communication with the hotel was easy. Our stay was very comfortable, the rooms were spacious and clean. Very quiet beach location. Not much to see or do and restaurants are OK but not great. Many were closed. (Note: visited a different part of Apulia in June and found that unless you are in a real tourist spot like Otrannto, many restaurants are closed at lunchtime and don't open until 8.30pm for dinner.) Our apartment was a good size and very suitable for our stay. Check weather before you book. Our trip was 7-14 September and we had many heavy thunderstorms which left the roads like rivers!
Full of incredible architectural monuments, and within easy reach of historical sites, cathedrals, castles, breathtaking medieval towns and gorgeous rocky seaside along the coast, Bari combines the layers of ancient and medieval architecture with a very vivacious, mundane modern city life and flair. I would absolutely recommend Bari (and the whole of Puglia / Apulia) to travellers who wish to see some of the most stunning Romanesque architecture in Europe, and dip in the sea afterwards. On a par with the sights, cultural landmarks and sea of Sicily. Train connections are excellent, reliable and very cheap, and the coast towns around Bari are easily walkable. I especially recommend Trani (cca.40 mins by train), it has arguably the most beautiful cathedral of Puglia, directly overlooking the sea; after your visit, you can jump in the sea from the breakwater facing the cathedral. It is well worth exploring the old towns of Trani, Molfetta, Bisceglie, Giovinazzo, Barletta. For lovers of the sea, Polignano a Mare is the most scenic place to go. Try seafood (my best experience: polpo arrosto in a little trattoria-pizzeria in Bari harbour, walking to the right from the castle), and the hundred varieties of focaccia, farcita - there is a place where they sell the "originals" in Bari's old town: starting to the left, walking under the arch on the little square in front of Bari's Cathedral.
Beautiful small city built on cliffs. Narrow, winding roads make up the old town. Excellent restaurants and seafood specialities. Must visit if you're in Apulia

Beautiful historical town in the north of Salento. History in Manduria is just as usual & common as everywhere in Apulia and everyday new art discoveries made my journey through the magic of this southern region. Everybody must visit it once in his life. The untouched medieval style mixed with the baroque, byzantine, roman architecture is also very distinctive and unique. Food - like everywhere in Italy - is just Delicatessen. Nature and uncontaminated landscapes give also sense to its visit. Must visit!
Torre Vado is a beautyfull town in the Salento, Apulia. The Beach and the sea are marvelous, fine quality of sand and water! The Lido Venere and La Cozza are excellent Restaurants with very friendly staff and Great Sea Food! A Great Location for Family Summer holidays!!!

Putignano is a lovely old town close to Bari and its airport. From here you can undertake lots of great day trips to all the historical places close by. There are also many good restaurant to sample typical Apulian food.
A lovely town to stay as a base for exploration of southern Apulia. Minervino itself has really good restaurants, we ate at Menhir and Volta 51 both being excellent. The proximity to Lecce, Otranto and the beautiful south east Salento coast makes Minervino highly advantageous and we’d love to return. The B&B Casanova is a wonderful place to stay
I chose the Rosa dei Trulli on the basis of excellent reviews of the place, and I can fully confirm them. A little off the town (which I find an advantage if you have a car, the town center makes it difficult to park, and the Rosa is very quiet), pleasant surroundings, helpful and dedicated hosts. Great place of a stay in this unique region of Apulian trulli.
Locorotondo
We had a wonderful stay in B&B Trulli Donna Isabella 2. The apartment is good size, kitchen is very well equipped and it was very clean. We also enjoyed the breakfast prepared by Donna Isabela (our children especially the cakes ;) ). I was suprised that the apt was cleaned every day during our stay. Donna Isabela and whole her family are good, hospitable and pleasent people. The center of Locorotondo is 10min walking distance. If you look for a nice place in Apulia, only 15min by car from Arbelobello you will find it there!
Giovinazzo
Beautiful property with a perfect location! right in the old part of Giovinazzo, two steps away from the little beach. The apartment is in a lovely little street. the inside of the place is spacious with a very nice bathroom. The property has beautiful white stairs typical from the Apulian region. The owners surprised me with a few little things such as a wine bottle and some snacks waiting for me in the room. It was a sweet thought, very appreciated especially after a long travel!
Alberobello
Excellent location for relaxing stay. Clean and comfortable studio apartment. The kindness of the hosts. You would probably need a car to move around unless you like walking. Alberobello is between 45 to 60 minutes walk depending on the pace. Da Donato restaurant a 10 minute walk away serves typical Apulian food at a very reasonable price. Another couple of other places to eat close by, a pizzeria and a good brasserie for meat lovers.

We rented two apartments. They were both beautiful and very clean. We were very impressed. The bathrooms were spacious, modern and spotlessly clean. One of the two apartments has a kitchen and also a lovely outside dining area. Michela was there to meet us when we arrived and was very helpful and very communicative. Parking was free. We highly recommend Mamapulia Home!
Locorotondo
Monica helped us from the moment we arrived in town. It's always a little difficult for us to find some of these places on the GPS. We stopped and asked a favour from another place which had a receptionist. She allowed us to use her WiFi. That way we were able to get the final directions. It was wonderful and Monica booked a restaurant with typical Apulian cuisine

Our first accommodation during 2 weeks of touring Apulia was a delight, especially with no foreign tourists! The host was kind and welcoming and the apartment a treat. All amenities were within walking distance and the accommodation was very well appointed. The fridge to cool the wine was a bonus. The cafe breakfast delightful. In all, good value and recommended!
Wonderful stay in a magnificent hotel in the center of Bisceglie, Apulia. Warm welcome by the lady owner of this great property. The room and bathroom were absolutely top, and we enjoyed the best breakfast we had during our stay in Italy. Positive also to have the possibility to park the car near the hotel. Certainly to be recommended!

Beautiful apartments in original Trulli houses, with nice breakfast, swimming pool and olive garden. Perfect for family trip to Apulia. Several minutes by car to Alberobello or Locorotondo, 20-30 mins to Polignano a Mare or Monopoli by the sea. Many good restaurants few minutes by car. I recommend this place

I loved my apartment. Breakfast was lovely. Location was Fabulous. Our Host was Exceptional. He went above and beyond regarding anything we needed. I'd recommend staying at Dimora Apulia, as it is very spacious, comfortable and the apartment itself is an authentic Italian building.
Molfetta
We had a great time at Bellapulia Apartments while attending a family wedding. It was wonderful to have our own space close to all the festivities. The property was immaculate and well-appointed, with lots of special amenities that we really appreciated. Our stay was truly enjoyable!

Nice and clean apartment, perfect for an off-season vacation. A 10-minute walk to the central station, from where the main attractions of Apulia are easily reachable. Supermarket, cafeteria, and pizzeria nearby.

We loved the entertainment staff and activities they created, particularly those in the evening. This is definitely a place for families. The sea was beautiful and all facilities (football, volleyball, archery, swimming) are great. The room was small and basic but sufficient.
