We had the most amazing room that was about 100 metres from the reception. We had 2 great bars next door and 5-6 great restaurants that were around the corner. We loved the hotel and we loved having the space we had. We were 10 metres from the water - beautiful. Breakfast was excellent and the staff we wonderful. We spent half a day by the pool and loved it. I would definitely go back and thought it was a highlight of the trip

5 stars for this hotel is a big shame. Couldnt avoid the smell of deepfried food, the constant noise of the toilet that didnt work well. It was horrible and above all a big middle finger to all the Masseria’s nearby with a 4 star rating. This hotel isnt worth 3 stars.

the region of puglia is very nice, close to nice cities if you have a car, from the resort you can make some nice hikes on the coast to the nearest cities - we recommend hike to Polignano al Mare with a designated trial on the coast (look for white-red marks)

As a group of seven young women visiting Monopoli, we found it to be the perfect town for enjoying the beach, savoring delicious food, and having a few drinks at local bars. The locals were very welcoming to tourists and accommodating to non-Italian speakers. I highly recommend booking a rental car for Monopoli, as parking is plentiful and the sidewalks are not walkable.

What a beautiful historic center!
What a beautiful historic center! So many alleyways to meander about. A lively atmosphere - we enjoyed walking in the evenings and felt safe. Beautiful swimming area within walking distance of old town. Our favorite meals were at Condominio 60 and King Street Food.

I recommend to visit travel info center to get a map, as orientation in the city center is not easy. Its charming narrow streets and white houses will give you anyway the satisfaction even you get lost :-)

Enjoyed the wonderful swimming area, clean clear water. Great access to the old town, the features of the old town were interesting and the walk around the old wall. Monopoli was easy to navigate. The transport system- railway station and bus made other day trips very practical. Definitely worth a visit. Range of food options.

The locals were really friendly and helpful and the atmosphere at nighttime was fantastic.
The only negative......
Parking in Old Town is minimal so be patient!

we would highly recommend to stay at tenuta martinelli. anna and vito are just the most friendly and amazing hosts you could ask for. we felt welcomed and happy from the first second on.
the place is perfectly located just next to monopoli, super clean, and on top lovely decorated. the pool area is relaxing and the breakfast offers everything you need and wish for.
out of many hotels in puglia this was definitely the place where we felt most welcomed and home.
The apartment is AMAZING! everything is brand new and very well equipped. Mauro is a great host, he came to meet us for the check in and was very helpful and communicative during our stay. The location is PERFECT! Right on the two best beaches in Monopoli, close to the city center and while travelling with a car, it was the great with parking on the street and easy exit from Monopoli to travel around Puglia. Defiantly will return while in Puglia!
A lovely, lovely place to stay. Great facilities - the pool area and cabanas were a great place to spend the day and meant you could get shade and sun depending on how you were feeling. The staff were all super-friendly and helpful. We felt very secluded at Residenza il Sole, which was nice, but then great being only a 10 minute taxi from beautiful Monopoli old town as well - the best of both worlds!
Everything! It’s the cutest little boutique hotel ever with 3 rooms. It has a cute little rooftop pool that gets a lot of sun. The staff (the young girl especially) were amazing and helpful. If you’re in a car, don’t drive into the city - it’s not allowed.
Best location in Monopoli , two separate bedrooms two floors 2 bathrooms 2 tvs. Had everything you could want including use of beach parasols, coffee machine, kettle hairdryers iron. Quiet eve.n though in a busy area. Gorgeous and great for family of 4
