Aquatio Cave Luxury Hotel & SPA is situated inside the Matera Sassi UNESCO World Heritage site. Featuring a on-site restaurant and free WiFi, the hotel is located 400 metres from MUSMA Museum. A lot of options on your breakfast. Every staffs I met during the stay were absolutely friendly and helpful. Fast response whenever i sent the messages which i am super appreciate. The Spa better needs to reserved in advanced (the maximum capacity is 8 guests in an hour).

Le Malve Cave Retreat Cave Retreat is located in Sasso Caveoso, the historic part of Matera. It boasts air-conditioned rooms with a town-view balcony and a buffet breakfast. Location was unique and breathtaking!!! Hotel staff was extremely kind and very helpful! Reception and breakfast/ dining area - a stone mason's adventure playground!!! A structure of rare beauty. Breakfast was Scrumptious, a variety of Apulian delectables!!! Suite was very clean and comfortable with a refreshing view from the terrace. I highly recommend this "Cave Retreat" for anyone who appreciates rare gems...as this is one of them!!!

Set inside the Matera Sassi UNESCO site, Corte San Pietro is housed in a renovated historical building carved out of stone. It offers rooms with a private entrance and free Wi-Fi throughout. Set 700 metres from the Sassi di Matera UNESCO site, Hotel Casino Ridola offers a swimming pool and free parking with video surveillance. WiFi is free in all rooms. The rooms are beautiful, the staff is superb, The breakfast was more than adequate, the location is an easy walk into town. A little uphill on the way back. Matera is a beautiful city and this place just adds to it. Highly recommend.
