Everything was wonderful - amazing room, incredibile staff, spa area was out of this world, and food was excellent

It's a small hotel that has rooms caved in rocks Technically you're living in a cave It was a lovely experience Room was spacious Heating in the room was excellent Staff friendly We had wine tasting experience which added a nice touch to the trip (highly recommended) Keep in mind that the hotel is in a ZTL zone Which means you have to park outside and take a taxi or walk to the hotel Receptionist was nice enough to recommend parking spots

Set inside the Matera Sassi UNESCO site, Corte San Pietro is housed in a renovated historical building carved out of stone. It offers rooms with a private entrance and free Wi-Fi throughout. Located in the heart of the cave district, this hotel had wonderful food and great hosts who made our stay so nice. The rooms were well appointed and comfortable.

The room was modern and clean, with all important amenities. The staff was super nice. The location was also good, just 5/10min from main tourist attractions. I would recomend this accommodation to anyone coming to Matera.

Situated in Matera and with Matera Cathedral reachable within 800 metres, Lo Stemma Luxury Boutique Hotel features concierge services, non-smoking rooms, a terrace, free WiFi throughout the property... Very big and comfortable room, the bed was huge and great for a restful sleep. The hotel is located at the top of the Sassi, the beautiful historical centre, making it really easy to reach the most beautiful landmarks of the town by foot. The staff are really really nice, everyone is so kind and helpful, particularly Rocco. Beautiful terrace with an amazing view, highly recommended for your breakfast in the morning if the weather permits it. I particularly loved that there are only 9 rooms, so your stay will feel even more premium.
