Opened in June 2018, Hotel 1001 Nott offers modern accommodation 5 km from Egilsstadir. The hotel features outdoor hot tubs overlooking Lake Lagarfljót. There is also an on-site bar. The property was so nice. A great location! I wish we could’ve stayed 2 days there. I think there are lots of interesting hikes thru forests. We only had time to see a nearby waterfall. We saw northern light from the outdoor hot tubs.

Snæfell - Hotel by Aldan is 500 metres from the Smyril Line Ferry Terminal in Seydisfjördur. WiFi and parking are free. The location is unreal. You feel like you are in a constantly fairytale.

Hotel Stadarborg is in Breiddalur Valley, next to Road 1 and less than a 1-hour drive from Egilsstadir. The hotel met all our expectations and the breakfast was amazing.

Berjaya Hérað Hotel is situated in Egilsstadir, 5 km from Lagarfljot River. It offers a terrace bar and 24-hour room service. All rooms have Wi-Fi, satellite TV and wooden floors. Very friendly reception staff. Nice and cozy room. Good location

We could cook all we wanted. Shower was nice and so where the toilets. Everithing was excellent. I will probabely come there again.

This family-run hotel enjoys a countryside location by Road 93, overlooking central Egilsstadir, 2 km away. Free WiFi access in the lobby and garden views can be enjoyed. Staff was so accommodating and absolutely amazing helping me find my way around the country. They went above and beyond to make sure I was safe and comfortable throughout my entire stay. The rooms were beautiful. Breakfast was great. Everything was perfect
