However extremely overpriced for India for what we got. I have paid less in Europe and received better quality accomodation. AC in the room however we were never provided with the remote. Fan was good enough.

We wanted to avoid the crowded beaches in the calangute-bagha strip and so we chose to stay in Panaji. The streets and restaurants were thinly populated and food options were great in Panaji. Since it was centrally located, it was easy to go to north and south part of Goa.
Missing good Goan restaurant. Stay away from Quarterdeck restaurant. Worst food and service. Staff is busy watching IPL. Chef should have basic training about how to dry the fish. City is very crowded due to Casinos.
A lovely small township in South Goa, within 8 kms from Madgaon railway station, Betalbetim has a number of hotels. It is also fringed with a beach on it's West side, part of the very popular South Goa beaches. There is also located here the well known eating place - Martin's Corner.
Vagator is one of the serene, peaceful and less crowded places in North Goa. Little Vagator Beach also called the " Ozran" beach is a much less explored that the Vagator beach. So if you are in an exploration and relaxation mode, chill at Little Vagator ( Ozran Beach). There are couple of shacks from where you can get some beer and chill Going around is a bit difficult unless you have bike. Getting shared taxi or Cab is not too easy, but you will get quite a few options over the weekend. Best way to commute is Scooty. The Vagator beach is walk able though, and the walk from the Jungle Hostel to the beach after sunset is quite serene. Walking to and from the beach at night is quite relaxing and less strenuous. But yes for going to thalassa you might have to look out for option from beforehand, if you donot get a scooty as the walk is quite long and the roads are quite empty during off season. while coming back from Thalassa you will get many options of booking a cab as there is a Taxi stand just outside thalassa, The fare to reach Vagator should not be more than INR 300 at night ( Aorund 11-12). The nearby beaches are morjim and Anjuna. The must try places are Thalassa, Mango tree, Our shack ( Ozran Beach ), Lucky shack ( Ozran Beach).
I ve stayed at the karma royal palms through trip thrill. Was a great experience. Good for long walks. The food is amazing at hide out and brilliant. Do drink a lot of coconut water to avoid dehydration in goa.
If you're going off-season(monsoon) then staying in Arambol should be avoided as most good restaurants here are shut till october and the beach has more garbage than people. Blue sea view restaurant had a good view of the sea and decent goan food, did not try other cuisines. Service was quick but unprofessional. Food quality was not consistent.
If you want peace and relax near the beach. This is a perfect place. Not for the folks who want to party. For Fun and party North Goa, Penjim is best.

We stayed around baga, the canal is good have basic stores and shopping around. Tamarind restaurant is very good. Beautiful ambience, we stopped for coffee n some pastries. It was good We mainlu travelled to Calangute beach, panji and to south of goa on other days. The resturant at calangute beach called pousada was a amazing discovery. Little expensive but the food, staff and location was very impressive. Local thalis are inexpensive and tasty too. Must try ritz classic.

We greatly enjoyed our time spent at Taj Cidade de Goa Horizon. Our hotel room had a beautiful, full panoramic view to the ocean. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. Glenn showed us many peculiar Goan and traditional Indian dishes, and did his best to make us feel really special as long stayer guests of the Hotel. Mintu, who was in charge of cleaning our room, also performed outstanding services, and payed attention to the smallest details. We are really grateful for this holiday experience.

Our Goa Trip was truly memorable coupled with the stay at the wonderful Casa Anjuna Hotel. A boutique hotel and a well maintained heritage property, it was a great place for relaxation amidst the lush green, beautifully maintained gardens all around the hotel. Would like to highly appreciate the behavior, support and services of the hotel especially Mr. Sameer (Manager), Hrithik, Lalit and Devidas who impressed us with their brilliant hospitality.
It's wonderful hotel really, professional receptionist specially Ms Dimpy, she was very very corporative and helpful, many thanks to her. The room is big, nice view with balcony and comfortable beds. Staff are very helpful and quick. In Restaurant, there are variety delicious & unique foods. Apartment is a good value for North Goa as it is quite a bit more expensive compared to the rest of India. Beds were in great condition and quite comfortable. We were a family traveling with 4 adults and 2 children and it was nice to have two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Staff was able to accommodate the mixup in the Booking description (see below) by providing two extra beds for our children.
Hotel is conveniently located. Its close to all the places you would want to Goa in mid north. Breakfast spread is fantastic. Rooms are clean and good. Resort in general is immaculately clean. Hotel staff shows great hospitality. Special mention for Monika. She didn't give us a chance to ask for something the second time. You say it and its done. All in one a wonderful experience :)
Candolim
Hotel is nicely located close to many restaurants and also on walking distance to the beach. Rekha in the reception is very helpful and available and acted quickly when on arrival the bedsheets and towels were not clean, when the A/C stopped working, when the water was missing one day, and also assisted with moving around in Goa. She really keeps the hotel together.

We booked a cottage during our stay at Crafts hostel . The cottage was amazing with a typical Goan vibe . Absolutely loved our stay there. The staff was kind and helpful. Hostel has amazing vibes . I'll definitely recommend it for family . Even if you are a solo traveler just go for it . It is a fantastic place .
This place is an oasis in the storm of Goa. Would 100% stay again. Staff very attentive of all your needs and nothing was any trouble. Room very comfortable, pool was great. Hostel Mandala is a very cool and quiet place to stay, very good ambiance and good smiling staff, rooms are well cleaned. Anjuna beach is within walking distance. Also the host Akki is a very nice person he has a good knowledge of Goa and it's culture.
Baga
recently stayed at the roseal beach front Hotel in Baga, Goa, and I can confidently say it was one of the best hospitality experiences I’ve had. The hotel's location is unbeatable just a 10 second walk to the Baga beach.
