Host Stella was very nice, we had good conversations and she booked a rickshaw for our ongoing connection for us.

It depends what you want. I've been there several times as I have worked in India and it's very convenient for a short break before returning to the UK.There are a lot more tourists than there were even 5 years ago but it's the same nearly everywhere. The south of Goa is quieter and I guess so are parts of Kerala if you want beach but I haven't been for ages so not the best judge. There's a good choice of restaurants in Colva and the ATM usually works. You can walk around it in a very short time. There are lots of tourist shops selling the same stuff as every other tourist place in India. It's easy to get to from the airport. I go because I just want a short break in a convenient location with a clean beach. To be honest there are much more interesting places to see in India but they are not beach places. If you want beach go to S.E.Asia! Colva is fine but not "real" India.

We are not sunbathers, so felt Colva was geared up for people who didn’t want to do much.
There are loads of really good restaurants in Colva. They might not always look as Europeans expect, but when you go in even the smallest family restaurant the food is superb.
You don’t need to pay hotel prices for food.

Colva-South Goa has peaceful,serene beaches.
Colva-South Goa has peaceful, serene beaches. It is not as congested as North Goa. The new roads make travel to north goa a breeze. We enjoyed food at Boomerang beach restaurant. Ensure you take mosquito repellent. Colva is situated near to other south Goa locations & it is easy to travel to North Goa.

Colva is small and quiet located in South Go.
Colva is small and quiet located in South Go. If you're looking for action you should probably book in north Goa. This area is for resting, relaxing and there are a few bars where you can drink while watching the waves roll in. It's about 30 minutes from the airport.

Remember It's South Goa...It's calm quiet and not like North Goa....
Beleza is an excellent place to spend time with family in Goa. Its very clean, has good sized swimming pool, easy and quick access to beach, and restaurants on site, including a beach bar, that make it good to spend time within the resort. Check in, check out process is smooth, very efficient. Food quality a la carte is very good. Breakfast is good too with a lot of variety and live counters for eggs, dosas etc.
Nothing like having breakfast with a different Indian special each day in the C Roque restaurant with a view of the amazing South Goa sandy beach. Twenty steps and you’re toe dipping in the warm sea. What a way to start each day!
Fabulous location with a very relaxed easy going atmosphere. Away from the crowds and yet local villages and restaurants walking distance away. Breathtaking sunsets. Friendly staff
Hotel Owner Gregory Gracias is super helpful. He guided tours and own tourist vehicle. He drove us to the tourist spots. Colva beach is within 200 meters. Complete value for money.
For families, South Goa is better than North Goa. It is cheaper also.
