I was given the best sea facing room which was very very comfortable and good.
In fact I was over fed at the breakfast table.
Chef Puneet Badola personally came and made the dishes according to my taste.
Dipti at the reception desk was excellent in her dealings made me so comfortable and service was par excellence.

The room was of good size with welcoming decor and comfortable bed. The breakfast was great with mostly south Indian food options. The person at the reception was attentive (don't remember his name). I would definitely stay here again although would hope for a more economical price per night. Oh and the restaurant on the top floor was great as well.

Its a afantastic city if you have the time to just walk around and absorb the ambience. The people are very friendly once you get to know them.
You should definitely visit Miski bar next to Panjim Post office and try their Beef / Chicken cafreal sandwich as well as the prawn cafreal and do not leave the city without trying goa's local beer People's.
Also book a walking tour with Soul Travels and ask for Kunal or Bob. You will not be disappointed.

Loved the location in the Portuguese area, we spent three full days exploring the immediate area and nearby - all on foot - except a trip to Old Goa by local bus. We had simple lunches, usually samosas (the best we have ever tasted) and chai with dinner at local Fontainhas restaurants including our hotel.

As a woman, I felt very uncomfortable and unsafe with the men they allow inside the hotel - just sitting around men sitting around lobby staring. Even at dinner at the hotel, we had the same experience - with extremely cheap men sitting around and just staring at women like we were there for their entertainment.
The hotel also lies about cab services for guests, insisting that you only use cab services run by thugs - stationed outside the premises. They charge extremely high rates and are complete bullies. All you need to do is walk up the street to the high way and you can take far more reasonable cabs/ taxis - but the hotel doesnt even infrom you about this. Shows how much they value their customers and a basic level of customer service. Pathetic customer service by double tree by Hilton Panaji. Do not waste your time at this hotel.
Everything is top notch! The hosts - Mr. & Mrs. Botelho are so welcoming, warm, helpful and humble. It’s like a home away from the home. Rooms, food and overall service is fabulous.
Location is bang in the heart of Fontainhas. Panjim church, market, restaurants and many pubs are nearby but still the location of hotel is very quiet and peaceful. It’s an experience in itself. We will be staying here in all of our future Goa tours. 😊
It is a small cosy place with a garden where you can have breakfast. They serve simple but good Indian food all day. This hotel is an Indian place, not so easy to find in Goa. That is one of the main reasons why I liked it.
The staff knows how to put the hosting, in hospitality. So friendly, attentative and warm.
Would definitely put this on my shortlist for excellent hotels in Goa.
