Staff were brilliant - our daughter had asd and had a meltdown when we got to the hotel first and the receptionist didn’t even bat an eyelid. They gave us a room on the bottom floor which was ideal. Fantastic breakfast service the next morning also. Very quick check in and check out. Definitely recommend. Also close to portlaoise and Dublin airport.
Portlaoise
This was our first time staying at the Iveigh House Hotel, Portlaoise, from the arrival to our check out time everything was excellent. The personal touches, greeting upon arrival, early check requested, a location with tons of character, centrally located and a breakfast which was superb, well done !
Mountmellick
It's a beautiful house on very peaceful grounds. The rooms are well appointed with tasteful decor and modern bathrooms. The host James was very helpful and cooked a very nice breakfast with homemade marmalade. It was better value than the hotels in Portlaoise and definitely a nicer experience.

Great location, good value and very clean and comfortable! Little cereal boxes, tea, coffee, hot chocolate etc were a nice touch. Microwave, kettle , toaster all very useful.
Barrow view was excellent. Clean and comfy. Scrumptious breakfast. Anne was great to chat with and an extreme hostess.
From the moment we stepped out of the car we were welcomed, friendly homely atmosphere. Spotless clean and had everything we needed thank you Ashbrook Arms
What a wonderful place! We loved everything: the nature, the place, the people... it's like being inside a film. Paddy and Hanna are wonderful, friendly people, two artists... Paddy also has a great voice, at the end of dinner he sang a couple of songs and we wished that moment had never passed. thank you so much, a piece of my heart is there with you
