The property was clean and well-located, the staff went above and beyond for us by helping us organize rides and activities, the bed was quite comfortable, and the food at the restaurant was tasty and cheap. With the river running by so close, it felt like we were staying at an alpine lodge! The family running the guest house is extremely kind. We couldn’t recommend this place enough. Make sure to bring cash with you, though. As of writing this it’s a cash-only town with the nearest ATM about 7km away.

We also booked a jungle trek with Andre and Rama as our guides… they were patient and fun to hang with and the provided a wonderful lunch plus we saw six Orangutans with a mom and baby within 5ft! A definite recommend to our friends !

They also organized my transfers and my 2 days trekking in the jungle and we had a fantastic time, Ichan ( I may spell it wrong) and his friend were great...we saw many monkeys and birds we also see a walking Orangutan .

The Jungle Guide is such a good organization. They organize trips through the jungle with stays in the jungle. the guides grew up in the jungle and share their knowledge Their english is well and they even organize karaoke evenings or play games with you in the jungle (card tricks etc). It was so much fun, I learnt a lot and I saw the Orang Utans in wild life, also many other monkey. Their lodge is placed at a hill over the river. The bungalows are simple, with a very comfortable bed. I will defetly go back.

We stopped at 11 for delicious fruit. For lunch we had chicken, fried rice, tomato and cucumber. The camp on the river was well set out. Dinner was different curries.. Delicious! We saw orangutans including a big male. Different species of monkey and other interesting Forest creatures. Kinol had good eyes. We returned by a raft of big tyres joined together.. Very exciting..
