Andri was very kind and helpful. He arranged transportation to/from Bukit Lawang. He also arranged a day trip to the jungle with our guide Jhony whom we recommend as well! The place is by the river and absolutely lovely.

Sam is an attentive and friendly owner and his staff are excellent! Pipie his main guy was always there to chat and help plus he played Rummikub with us at night! The restaurant was very good with a great selection of food with amazing value! They booked out car from Medan and gave a motorbike ride to the hotel which added to our experience! We also booked a jungle trek with Andre and Rama as our guides… they were patient and fun to hang with and the provided a wonderful lunch plus we saw six Orangutans with a mom and baby within 5ft! A definite recommend to our friends !

I loved the location, right in front of the river and at the end of the village.I had a room overlooking the river and the jungle , great location. The employee are amazing always ready to help and the ambience is very nice and relaxing. The food is very good, the chef is amazing there. They new about my allergy to gluten and they were able to bake some bread for me and also made gluten free pancakes...love it. They also organized my transfers and my 2 days trekking in the jungle and we had a fantastic time, Ichan ( I may spell it wrong) and his friend were great...we saw many monkeys and birds we also see a walking Orangutan .

The Jungle Guide is such a good organization. They organize trips through the jungle with stays in the jungle. the guides grew up in the jungle and share their knowledge Their english is well and they even organize karaoke evenings or play games with you in the jungle (card tricks etc). It was so much fun, I learnt a lot and I saw the Orang Utans in wild life, also many other monkey. Their lodge is placed at a hill over the river. The bungalows are simple, with a very comfortable bed. I will defetly go back.

We went on the jungle trek and stayed overnight. Our guide, Kinol was so helpful and went at our pace. Are, his outsider carried the food. We stopped at 11 for delicious fruit. For lunch we had chicken, fried rice, tomato and cucumber. The camp on the river was well set out. Dinner was different curries.. Delicious! We saw orangutans including a big male. Different species of monkey and other interesting Forest creatures. Kinol had good eyes. We returned by a raft of big tyres joined together.. Very exciting..

My stay was nice. The room is clean and all the facilities was excellent. What you see in the photo, you will get exactly the same. The location is good. Near Mall and railway station. And especially the staff is nice and friendly. for sure will come again. no smoking room js perfect fine for me as a non smoker and also we cant excess for balcony is perfectly fine just because of the weather. so yeah 🥰
