A 5-minute drive from the vibrant Malioboro Street, Aloha Hotel Yogyakarta offers tour arrangements and air-conditioned rooms with en suite bathrooms. Free Wi-Fi is accessible in all areas. If I could give this place an 11 I would. What a great value for a hotel that's so clean, well run and well located. It's a very quiet hotel on a side street and the rooms are all off the street. In a busy city like yogyakarta its so important to have a quiet night's sleep. It was a pleasure to start each day with a coffee in the lush garden. Rita and her staff made sure every day was pleasant and always offered to clean our room when we stepped out for the day. Her knowledge of yogyakarta was incredible and it really made our trip. I wish I could take this hotel with me wherever I go

My room was much bigger than most other places here. Clean as well and no smell in the bathroom. Felt like it had been redone recently because it was all new construction. Plus the little cafe in the front was very cute and served coffee and food.

Had the most amazing stay for 1 night as we climbed mt ljen. The owner was so kind, helpful and arranged everything for us to go hike mt ljen. He provided us with medical certificates (which we didn’t know we needed), gave us free gas masks and even arranged for one of his friends to buy us the tickets when we arrived at mt ljen. Room was very clean, comfortable and AC worked great. Very cool location that has way more of a local feel!
