It's an amazing place, my husband (Indian Singaporean) and I (German) spent 4 days there over Chinese New Year. The team there, especially Linda and Eric, set a new standard to customer service! They are so deeply caring for each guest, it's touching. When it rained they placed an umbrella outside of every villa, so that guest wouldn't get wet on their way to dinner, when we wanted to go on a trip and the hotel driver was unavailable Linda called several taxi companies and in the end offered to drive us with the staff car, even when the fan did not immediately work three people showed up and got it fixed within 10mins. Kelong Trikora is a very quiet resort with a beautiful pool and 10 separate huts. The cuisine is out of this world, even though the menu is a bit limited (focus on Indonesian and Chinese), so many of the dishes were simply the best (can recommend the fish curry, the sotong bakar, the kailan and kangkong and as daily special chicken satay, each main about 180K, veggies 75-90K). It takes about an hour from the ferry terminal Bandar Bintan Telani (Lagoi) and from the resort we went to the blue lakes and sand dunes (1hr drive, absolutely worth it!). We tried the restaurants in the two resorts next to this and got utterly disappointed, food was horrible and the service even worse, so we would next time just stick to the resort kitchen. All the staff is very nice and chitchatty if you're open to it, but not forcing conversations upon anybody. For my husband's birthday I asked them to please help me get a chocolate cake and they got a super cute beautiful cake for me. The only thing to keep in mind is that you're dependant on the hotel's transport (so plan a bit in advance and let them know) and that during low tide the water draws back about 1km, so not really for swimming in the sea, but the pool is amazing and the whole area is covered in nice fluffy green grass, so nice to walk around barefoot.

Collected from the ferry terminal on a courtesy bus, saw some wild monkeys on the short drive to the hotel complex. We were met by the team of smiling hotel staff and offered a welcome drink and traditional cake. Dian who checked us in (and checked us out when we departed) was excellent. The staff were so helpful – they could not do enough for us, the General Manager introduced himself and talked us through the hotel amenities and surrounding area. The place was amazing, more people should experience this spectacular resort – we went early July 2024, it had only been opened since about Feb 2024, and one block was still being completed (not construction work, just internals – tiling, wiring etc). Breakfast was fantastic, we’ve had plenty of breakfast buffets in 5* hotels, but this was on another level. Walk along the beach towards the watersports and the Lagoi Bay sign and you will find a couple of small shops, but there’s really no reason to leave the complex unless you’ve booked an excursion.

Menawarkan tempat menginap yang nyaman dan berwarna cerah, Cassia Bintan terletak di Lagoi, 44 km dari Desaru. The staff is extremely friendly, the beach is perfect, and the breakfast offers a lot of variety. The apartment was also clean and fresh.

Alltrue Hotel Bintan - Tanjungpinang merupakan akomodasi bintang 4 yang terletak di Tanjungpinang. Lokasi bagus. Tidak terlalu jauh dari Pelabuhan Ferry Sri Bintan Pura dan dekat dengan tempat kuliner. Restoran sushi yang enak bisa ditempuh dengan berjalan kaki. Kamar bersih, tempat tidur bersih dan nyaman, kamar mandi bersih. Pencahayaan baik. Kamar saya kebetulan ada jendelanya. Ada smart TV, WiFi cukup kencang, kulkas kecil, brankas, ketel listrik, juga ada hair dryer di kamar mandi. Staf sangat ramah dan membantu. Terutama staf di bagian penerima tamu, baik dan ramah. Menu sarapan cukup lengkap dan bervariasi.

I like that it was very quiet, without many people and no street noise/ parties etc So it’s great if you’re looking for a place to fully chill and relax! The staff was exceptional, very attentive and super nice from the moment we arrived! Let us change the room to a better one easily, and always greeted us with a smile! Great post-stay help from the manager Icon, who went all out to make sure little transport hiccup was solved immediately!
