Facing the beachfront, The Kelong Trikora Resort offers 3-star accommodation in Kangkakawal and has an outdoor swimming pool, garden and private beach area. We love Kelong Trikora! It's an amazing place, my husband (Indian Singaporean) and I (German) spent 4 days there over Chinese New Year. The team there, especially Linda and Eric, set a new standard to customer service! They are so deeply caring for each guest, it's touching. When it rained they placed an umbrella outside of every villa, so that guest wouldn't get wet on their way to dinner, when we wanted to go on a trip and the hotel driver was unavailable Linda called several taxi companies and in the end offered to drive us with the staff car, even when the fan did not immediately work three people showed up and got it fixed within 10mins. Kelong Trikora is a very quiet resort with a beautiful pool and 10 separate huts. The cuisine is out of this world, even though the menu is a bit limited (focus on Indonesian and Chinese), so many of the dishes were simply the best (can recommend the fish curry, the sotong bakar, the kailan and kangkong and as daily special chicken satay, each main about 180K, veggies 75-90K). It takes about an hour from the ferry terminal Bandar Bintan Telani (Lagoi) and from the resort we went to the blue lakes and sand dunes (1hr drive, absolutely worth it!). We tried the restaurants in the two resorts next to this and got utterly disappointed, food was horrible and the service even worse, so we would next time just stick to the resort kitchen. All the staff is very nice and chitchatty if you're open to it, but not forcing conversations upon anybody. For my husband's birthday I asked them to please help me get a chocolate cake and they got a super cute beautiful cake for me. The only thing to keep in mind is that you're dependant on the hotel's transport (so plan a bit in advance and let them know) and that during low tide the water draws back about 1km, so not really for swimming in the sea, but the pool is amazing and the whole area is covered in nice fluffy green grass, so nice to walk around barefoot.

Facing the beachfront, Four Points by Sheraton Bintan, Lagoi Bay offers 4-star accommodation in Lagoi and features an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre and garden. Modern and clean hotel, comfortable room and beds. Nice big area with many pools, pool chairs and the sea a little walk out. Cabana king terrace is open air so no shelter if it rains, but nice to lounge there and enjoy the sea breeze otherwise. Food is not too expensive compared to other resorts. Crackers and sambal that came with the food was a nice touch. Breakfast is good and wide variety. Service is very good, all the staff are very helpful and friendly. There's also a plaza nearby to get things from the convenience store.

Doulos Phos The Ship Hotel features an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre, a garden and shared lounge in Lagoi. With free WiFi, this 5-star hotel offers a 24-hour front desk and a concierge... Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Staff was so wonderful: kind, helpful, welcoming and always smiling. I would not hesitate to return there if I were ever lucky enough to return!

Boasting cosy and bright-coloured living space, Cassia Bintan is located in Lagoi, 44 km from Desaru. The property features minimalist, modern design and facilities, complete with free WiFi. amazing location on the beach. ideal for families and good to have a kitchen although we ate out. The restaurant on site was good and visiting the tree tops and Saffron was a real treat. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this resort.

Alltrue Hotel Bintan - Tanjungpinang is a 4-star property set in Tanjung Pinang. Very modern and clean. Very good management. We’ve stayed big resort with much higher rate but the every stanard and management style didn’t meet international standard. This place takes very good attention to service and quality details compared to other hotels in batam and bintan. Staffs are nice too.

Aston Tanjung Pinang Hotel & Conference Center has free bikes, fitness centre, a garden and restaurant in Tanjung Pinang. I pove how spacious the room was and how its equipped with amazing facilities. The free pass to Trans 7 studio was a bonus.
