Tegal Sari Cabin Kintamani está en Kintamani, a 23 km de Tegallalang Rice Terrace, y ofrece vistas al lago. No se dejen engañar por la entrada, primero pasas entre dos templos no turísticos pero muy bonitos, luego es cierto que la bajada hasta la cabaña está empinada y luego hay que seguir con escalones, pero la sorpresa de la habitación tan limpia y bonita y las vistas impresionantes merecen mucho la pena. Calidad precio inmejorable. Justo cerca se puede ir a cenar, kintamani ofrece una experiencia gastronómica muy buena, solo hay que indagar un poco. Si no vas a hacer la subida al monte batur para ver el amanecer, no te lo vas a perder, desde el mismo balcón y casi a la misma altura lo ves y sientes la energía perfectamente! Personal muy MUY servicial, y desayuno muy rico.

Black Wood Cabin es un alojamiento de 3 estrellas situado en Kintamani, a 34 km de Cueva de los Elefantes y a 34 km de Palacio de Ubud. The view of the mountain is wonderful, of course, when the weather is good. a bit dirty, but for one night it's fine.

El Gill Lake Batur ofrece alojamiento en Kubupenlokan. We arrived just as my two year old developed severe gastroenteritis after eating some food at Mount Batur View Point. The host, Ari, was incredibly kind in helping us clear up the mess. He then assisted us with booking jeeps and discussed guides etc. The rooms were excellent, with tea / coffee making facilities and hot showers. There is no A/C but it is unnecessary at that altitude. The rooms are separated from the lake by a lawn with BBQ area and a small onion field. Ari took my kids down to a pontoon on the lake where people were fishing. He then took us to some less well known, but very nice, hot spring pools, a short walk away. Later he cooked a wonderful BBQ chicken meal (If you want pork sausages, bring your own). We ate looking out across the lake. The next morning Ari was up at 5am to make sure the jeeps arrived and we were ready to go. After we returned from the jeep tour, Ari cooked breakfast of either pancakes and honey, scrambled egg and toast or fried noodles. All were delicious. I couldn't have asked for a nicer host or better facilities and I am sure that we will stay there again. Our 2 jeep's drivers, arranged through Ari, were also excellent.
