It’s was my hiking plans around the Batur… so I was really happy to find this place to stay in… very nice service… they all were super polite … cooking grate food!!! Really tasty. And even clean all my clothes when I even ask about that … so in 1 hour all my wardrobe was nearly get new look like../ after my long day hiking ….

Situated in Menanga, 33 km from Goa Gajah, Tapa Agung View features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. The view was amazing, and the staff as well. I was unfortunately sick before I arrived and stayed there to get better, the staff was super nice and even brought be some free hot ginger tea to get better. We also really liked the room. It's very clean and close to the Besakih temple. The village nearby is also nice to see with the small local market. Atmosphere was very calm and peaceful and it was very nice to have the possibility to have breakfast onsite :)

We booked a private villa for the birthday and it was a brilliant idea! The private pool with hot springs, secluded dining area for our guests and the room service was excellent! The rooms are clean and cozy, I also ordered a birthday decoration for my friend, so it looked fantastic! Staff was very nice and helpful! Highly recommend this place (especially there is not a lot of villa options in Kintamani)

Nice areas for families with games. Hot pool. Great view from the balcony with gamelan music coming from the village in the distance in the evenings.

All the perks of this accomodation that were not listed but we were very pleasantly surprised by: - Free daily evening bonfire (subject to the weather) - Free daily top up of kitchen consumables: indomie, eggs, bread - Free daily fruits - Free unlimited shuttle from accomodation to the main road (up to 10pm) - BBQ set meal (28k) available to order from the nearby Black Lava Cafe - Amazing views of Mt Batur - The staff were really prompt and accommodating to our needs during the stay I feel like they took great thought and care into making your stay as comfortable as possible - having a fly repellant provided (it was wet season and there were flies)

Set in Kubupenlokan, 30 km from Tegallalang Rice Terrace, Gill Lake Batur offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. We arrived just as my two year old developed severe gastroenteritis after eating some food at Mount Batur View Point. The host, Ari, was incredibly kind in helping us clear up the mess. He then assisted us with booking jeeps and discussed guides etc. The rooms were excellent, with tea / coffee making facilities and hot showers. There is no A/C but it is unnecessary at that altitude. The rooms are separated from the lake by a lawn with BBQ area and a small onion field. Ari took my kids down to a pontoon on the lake where people were fishing. He then took us to some less well known, but very nice, hot spring pools, a short walk away. Later he cooked a wonderful BBQ chicken meal (If you want pork sausages, bring your own). We ate looking out across the lake. The next morning Ari was up at 5am to make sure the jeeps arrived and we were ready to go. After we returned from the jeep tour, Ari cooked breakfast of either pancakes and honey, scrambled egg and toast or fried noodles. All were delicious. I couldn't have asked for a nicer host or better facilities and I am sure that we will stay there again. Our 2 jeep's drivers, arranged through Ari, were also excellent.
