The hot choices were very good and cooked to perfection. We loved the staff. They were all wonderful esp Jules, Freya, Lucy, Charlie. Dinner was superb. The fish n chips were an A+++ and we are from New England. The hotel is so steeped in unique history and each nook and crannies reflects this beauty. Our room ( #1)was fantastic.I The Secret Garden was indeed a lovely secret haven for afternoon tea.

The village is absolutely beautiful/ the room was clean/ the freedom i felt was 2nd to none. If you are after marble flooring and shiny things then book room at Ritz but you are after natural beauty everywhere you look and hosts which would go the extra mile to make you feel welcome than look no further. we loved our stay and defo will be back.
