Watermead Guest House is an absolute gem of an accommodation. Trudy and David made us feel very welcome, chatted with everybody over home cooked breakfast and even gave us great tips where to find ammonites. The room was very cosy, clean and the view was lovely. We stayed for two nights but would prefer to stay much longer. I can definitely wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation. In the Exmoor National Park, the 13th-century Luttrell Arms offers medieval features and picturesque gardens. Delicious breakfast ....very good assortment of pastries , cerals, fruits. The hot choices were very good and cooked to perfection. We loved the staff. They were all wonderful esp Jules, Freya, Lucy, Charlie. Dinner was superb. The fish n chips were an A+++ and we are from New England. The hotel is so steeped in unique history and each nook and crannies reflects this beauty. Our room ( #1)was fantastic.I The Secret Garden was indeed a lovely secret haven for afternoon tea.
