The restaurant served delectable dishes from fresh, local ingredients. Every meal was a culinary delight. Breakfasts were hearty, setting us up perfectly for exploring the picturesque surroundings. The hotel's facilities were top-notch. The staff were always on hand, offering excellent service and making sure every need was met. Porlock Pier truly exceeded our expectations. It's the perfect blend of luxury and comfort, with an unbeatable location and fantastic service. We can't wait to return and experience it again!

Situated in Chard, 28 km from Golden Cap, Watermead House features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. This 4-star hotel offers luggage storage space and free WiFi. Watermead Guest House is an absolute gem of an accommodation. Trudy and David made us feel very welcome, chatted with everybody over home cooked breakfast and even gave us great tips where to find ammonites. The room was very cosy, clean and the view was lovely. We stayed for two nights but would prefer to stay much longer. I can definitely wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation. Thank you, Trudy and David, for having us and pet Chester for us! :)
