Rutland Water Courtyard Rooms are located on Rutland Water Golf Course. A restaurant, an on-site bar and free WiFi is available. Free private parking is available on site. Peaceful location, lovely courtyard room with everything needed, including a very comfortable bed. Fantastic breakfast and excellent evening meal on the day we chose to eat there. It was nice staying next to the bar - we could have a drink in the evening without worrying about who was going to drive. We're not golfers, but learned a bit about the sport while we were there! Also was great to be so close to the Nature Reserve and able to walk around Rutland Water.

Dating back to 1604, this former hunting lodge offers traditional, spacious accommodation in the heart of Oakham, Rutland’s county town. Breakfast was very good. The staff were very pleasant. The tables were a bit narrow though :)

It was well run, clean, friendly staff and the food was excellent! It was also within walking distance to the railway station.

Uppingham
The staff were friendly, our TV did not work so we were swapped rooms immediately. We paid £55 for the night for the both of us, it was exceptional value but do not expect 5 Star Hotel. However it was very clean, the staff couldn't have been more helpful and we will book again when we come to Rutland. The Breakfast was basic but a bonus and all we needed, always good to get a cuppa and also good to have a kettle in the room.
The Hotel is set in fabulous grounds with great veiws over the lake which is vast. Rooms are very clean and luxurious with all the niceties including coffee machine, flat screen tv, bath robes etc: Staff very pleasant and attentive, Excellent location on Rutland Water with great walks and short distance from Oakham town centre with great pubs and restaurants and friendly locals. Will definitely recommend and return.
Oakham
The room was fantastic with views of the Rutland Water, the breakfast was cooked to order and very good selection of hot and cold food. We ate in the restaurant every evening and thoroughly enjoyed the food. and the service we enjoyed everything about the Hotel it was a perfect break for five nights with plenty to see and do surrounding the hotel. The rooms were nice and cosy and warm which we appreciated very much
We love staying at Rutland water Courtyard rooms, we have stayed there three times (in different room each time) we use this as a base to house hunt in area. Staff are lovely and so helpful, the facilities are fantastic also and breakfast is amazing! We love it there and will stay there again as we edge closer to buying a house in area.
Staying over for work in the area for work the Wisteria is well located, comfy and all the staff are lovely. The restaurant food is also tasty and breakfast hearty. For me I also like to head out on the pushbike after work and before tea and roads around Rutland have plenty to offer. And finishing off with a bath is great too!
Fantastic hotel, perfect location for Rutland Water, lovely views, attention to details 2nd to none with complimentary glass of wine on arrival, cookies on the door, water and tipple in the room, so many personal touches. Comfortable bed and large room. Beautiful building and courtyard. Cosy restaurant and bar.
The Hotel is ideally situated for visiting Rutland. The room was very roomy and reasonably quiet. The location also provided excellent base for eating out. The bathroom was adequate and the shower effective (once I had tightened the screw of the shower head bracket)
Location and building outstanding. Staff courteous and competent. Just right for fisherman. 200 yards from the bank of Rutland Water. Hotel very kindly stored our fish in the fridge.
The breakfast was exceptional...the variety and portions were wonderful...you certainly don't go hungry.
