The staff in particular were friendly, knowledgeable about the area and facilities and couldn’t do more for you. The food was absolutely fabulous as well. Offering indoor pool and a la carte restaurant, Kinloch Hotel, Isle of Arran is located in Blackwaterfoot. Free Wi-Fi access is available. An excellent hotel in a stunning location. We had a sea view room which was lovely and we could just have sat at the window all day looking at the view! The staff were so friendly and were also very helpful with information about the local area. The menu choices catered for all and the food was of an excellent standard and well cooked. The lounge area near the bar was so relaxing and comfortable and again had beautiful views.

With panoramic views over Brodick Bay, The Douglas Hotel offers boutique bedrooms with free Wi-Fi. The historic hotel is a 10-minute walk from Brodick centre. Our room and our bathroom were very spacious. The breakfast was hearty and tasty and the food at the bistro where we went every evening was varied and good. We were lucky to have live music one evening at the bistro. The staff were all very kind, helpful and agreeable. For our purposes the hotel location was perfect. We didn’t have a car so it was important to be close to the ferry terminal. We hiked and there are loads of hikes that can be started from the hotel ( no real need to get a bus). Alternatively the bus stops are just on the doorstep if you want to visit the other parts of the island
