I really liked this hotel. The building, derelict for years, has been beautifully restored with excellent attention to historic detail. The furnishings and fixtures are modern and sit well in the space. Comfortable public spaces. Gorgeous walled pool area with comfortable loungers and sofas (pool shut at time of visit - understandably as it was December). Just off the exquisite medieval square it is calm and peaceful. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is not a full restaurant but the soup was homemade and the meat and cheese platter plentiful. Perfect 'snacking'. Breakfast was buffet and more continental in style. The bedroom suite was huge with an enormous old fireplace an intetesting feature in the large sitting room. Lighting was elegant, switch and plug fittings stylish and everywhere. The bathroom was cleverly designed with a huge drench shower and a separated WC. Bed was super comfortable. We had a perfect stay and wished it had been longer.

A wonderful and relaxing place to stay near Domme in the Perigord Noir! The property has around 10-12 apartments, overlooking greenery on a rural road. We stayed for nine nights and absolutely loved it. The rooms are very modern and quite luxurious, well-equipped and extremely clean with good Wifi. Our room had a kitchen which was more than functional and a spacious bathroom. We loved our huge and quiet balcony, the feeling of privacy, and the friendliness of the staff. The heated pool and spa facilities were amazing too. Highly recommended place to stay! There is SO much to do in the nearby area from canoeing to visiting beautiful villages to exploring caves and having delicious food. The Perle de Domme is very well located about 5 min drive from Domme, but you will need a car to get there and around.

This hotel is just 170 metres from the Cro-Magnon Shelter and 350 metres from the National prehistoric Museum. Dating from 1964, it offers a heated, outdoor swimming pool and an on-site bar. The hotel staff was incredible forthcoming and supportive, being flexible and doing their best to make our stay successful. Many innovative little things, such as the bar of locally made soaps to replace plastic bottles in the rooms was a pleasure. Obviously the kitchen is not cheap, but very much worth the money and fulfilling.
