Mas Pere Pau is located in the natural setting of Bruguers, in Besalú, 5 minutes' drive from the city centre. It offers well-equipped apartments, studios and rooms with mountain and garden views. Incredible place, quiet and beautiful. Our host was great and her cooking was delicious.

Els Jardins de la Martana can be found in the historic centre of Besalú, next to the famous Romanesque bridge. It has free Wi-Fi and mountain views. Quite the immediate spot to stay, situated at one end of a historical town. This town is kind of like the crown jewel of the area but what made it much better was the very sweet staff that worked at this hotel.

Located in La Vall de Bianya, 40 km from Girona, Hotel Mas la Ferreria boasts an outdoor pool and views of the mountain. Guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar. The room, common areas and surrounding countryside are beautiful. The staff are wonderful. The Volcano gin and tonic is one of the finest cocktails I’ve had in years.

Casa Marcial (adults only) is located in the beautiful town of Besalú, just 100 metres from the mediaeval bridge. This property offers a garden with an outdoor pool and great views. The lady at the reception desk was just the most lovely and polite receptionist ever. The room was quite large and beautiful . Thru our room windows we viewed the garden and a lovely old church.

A lovely self-built wooden building, with some excellent self-built furniture. A shower so good I had to turn down the pressure; really comfortable large double bed. Lovely views outside the windows of the spacious and comfortable guests' common room. Great location for visiting Besalu, which is lovely, and the Garrotxa, an area of beautiful woods and dormant volcanic peaks. The restaurant literally over the road provided excellent food in a very friendly environment. Finally our hostess was very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Hotel Rural & Spa Mas Prat is located in the mountain town of Castellar de la Muntanya, just outside the Garrotxa Nature Reserve. Great location with an amazing view. Very friendly owners and staff. Nice, small spa area with sauna. The food (breakfast and dinner) was excellent. The room was spacious, clean and with a big terrace. We will definitely come back and can highly recommend it to everyone.

This cozy property occupies two houses from the XV century surrounded by beautiful countryside and situated just behind the city walls of the 'old town' in Santa Pau. The staff was really friendly. The room and the place were very nice. The breakfast was also very good.
