The hotel is an efficiently run place to stay, the breakfast was very good and the staff were always on hand to help. We were pleasantly surprised by the location and felt very welcome, definitely a place we will return to. Some really good places to eat very close.

Simply a fantastic place for a calm weekend in the picturesque location, perfect rest after seing numerous sightseens around. Looking forward to returning for a peaceful relaxing weekend once again.

Casa Marcial (adults only) is located in the beautiful town of Besalú, just 100 metres from the mediaeval bridge. This property offers a garden with an outdoor pool and great views. Frukosten var mycket bra. Färskpressad apelsinjuice varje morgon! Extra plus för att man fick en vattenflaska att ta med. Mysig "trädgård" med pool. Personalen var väldigt tillmötesgående när det gällde att berätta om omgivningarna och att boka bord på restaurang.

Lovely views outside the windows of the spacious and comfortable guests' common room. Great location for visiting Besalu, which is lovely, and the Garrotxa, an area of beautiful woods and dormant volcanic peaks. The restaurant literally over the road provided excellent food in a very friendly environment. Finally our hostess was very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. This was absolutely a magical place. Wow! We really enjoyed our stay. Also thanks to our upgrade. The room and the views are wonderful and the family is very kind. We also enjoyed the food and the spa! We definitely recommend this place if you want to enjoy nature in a quite place. We did not mind the road to travel there. It is a beautiful place in the hills!
