The castle hotel stands on the grounds of the former castle of Count von Daun, not far from the vineyards of the Ahr, Rhine, Moselle and Saar. The wellness area with the saune and indoor swimming pool was absolutely wonderful, the perfect way to end a day of hiking. Breakfast was the best I have ever had in a hotel for this price, a huge choice especially of breads and other bakery items (all bio) and amazing cheese. I could have eaten for three hours.

Everything was fabalous we were in a cabin basic but everthing was there ..pool was a bonus in the morning and a great choice of breakfast hot and cold

Amazing and hospitable staff couldn’t do enough for you. Made to fell so very welcome from the moment we pulled up. Lovely big room very spacious for the 3 of us travelling. The food was superb and with allot of choice, stayed open for us as we were last to arrive. Great breakfast, where we were offered if we would like to take bread rolls etc for lunch if needed. Will definitely be returning to this hotel for longer stay next time. Thank you so much.
