The room was large and clean, and overall was beyond expectations. The breakfast was superb. Staff were friendly and kind. The hotel is about 7 tram stops away from the city center, and the ride takes about 12 minutes, and the nearest tram stop is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Overall, we had a very nice stay at Philippus Inklusionshotel. Would definitely stay here next time in Leipzig.

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, Bed and Breakfast am Schillerplatz offers accommodation in Dresden, 5 km from Frauenkirche Dresden. I arrived late at night with my family and was able to call the staff and get immediate help to enter the bed and breakfast. I'm sure I had the appropriate credentials to enter but did not check my emails correctly. Many thanks for the exceptional service at that late hour. Our family woke up to a beautiful view of the Elbe river and then walked a couple hundred meters to the tram stop and entered Dresden. I also took a run across the bridge and viewed the city during the sunset. It's a great location to be out of the busy city but so close at the same time. The local restaurant is also open late for service (food and drink) - very helpful as well.

Hotel und Restaurant Bühlhaus is situated only a 3-minute walk from the Badegarten sauna theme park and is surrounded by the Erzgebirge mountains and forests. A breakfast buffet is also provided. I loved the location, right outside town so nature was all around. The bed was comfortable and the room spacious. The food in the restaurant was excellent and we ate in both nights. They even cooked goat cheese which I brought with me, because we don't have it in my country. They have a beautiful outside space to eat but it was too cold for us to sit there in the evening. However it is a great place for lunch or afternoon coffee. The atmosphere is more of a warm home than an impersonal hotel.

In full admiration for the perfect reconstruction of a city that was totally destroyed by the Allies at a moment that Germany had already lost the war. Beautiful baroque buildings, much greenery, lovely promenade along the Elbe. Lots of terraces, good restaurants (Ven!!!) and street artists. Cross the Elbe and visit also the much quieter Neustadt. Excursions to Meissen and Swiss Saxony are an absolute must
Dresden One pearl in the heart of Saxony in Germany A Must visit you will love this city! So much history amazing architecture from the 1500. This was the most bombarded city in the last World War. Until now they have rebuilt the whole city billions and billions of Euros invested in it! If you miss this Part of Germany you may regret!
Görlitz has a beautiful old town and nice newer town centre with good shops. The old town is full of squares and churches with wonderful old stone Buildings packed full of cosy restaurants and bars. Just across the footbridge in Zgorzelec there are lovely restaurants along the Polish side of the river The river in town forms the border with Poland and there is a footbridge across to Zgorzelec from Görlitz old town as well as the road bridge. Everyone from both sides gathers on these bridges on New Year's Eve to let off fireworks together. The place is full of history. The German side is in Saxony and the Polish side in Lower Silesia. The surrounding countryside is beautiful on both sides of the border. You can walk around the whole town and over to Poland easily as it is all very compact. Görlitz Xmas Market runs until 24tg Dec and is extensive within the old town and utterly charming.
We chose Leipzig as our base to visit Christmas markets at nearby towns (Weimar, Erfurt and Dresden) due to: a) Hotels were cheaper when booking longer nights during Christmas week b) Saxony Regional train ticket (especially when you're travelling in a group) allows us to visit nearby towns that are famous for their Christmas market
Dresden is a beautiful old city full of culture and history as it used to be the old capital of Saxony. I love German food so I am in heaven and dont try much other foods there. Its quite small so easy to walk in all the old historic town. I have been there many times in all seasons of the year. Also very nice and near by are Schloss Moritsburg, Fetstung Konigstain, Potsdam and Prague.
The town itself is pleasant enough without being spectacular, but as a base from which to explore mid-Saxony it was a very good location.
Lengenfeld is a small but very cute town that is not far from other larger towns and cities in Saxony (Zwickau, Plauen, Chemnitz). The town is in beautiful countryside.
A wonderful city, so much to see and do. I miss the DDR feel of the city, that was evident on my first visit, in 1992. But, I must say, the people of saxony, have made a remarkable job of restoring the city to its pre-war glory.
One of my favourite cities in Germany- I like the feel of Dresden, it feels "authentic" whereas some other German cities don't feel distinctively German. Saxony has some wonderful regions to explore, and around Dresden I liked Meißen and of course driving along the Elbe to Sächsische Schweiz. Of course Dresden's Zwinger is fantastic, and wandering around the Altstadt is great. If you can arrange tickets for the Semperoper it's well attending.
Beautiful city centre, fascinating history, good shopping, lots of top quality cultural events. Mendelssohn House Museum one of the best museums I’ve been to, loads of interactive features, beautifully designed. Auerbach Keller is atmospheric and historical place to eat with traditional food from Saxony.
Pirna
This place nearby Piran is very cosy, comfortable and is placed close to the Elbe River. This apartment is very good for two persons for medium or long stay. One of the main and the most beautiful town of Saxony, Dresden is very close from this place (about 30 minutes by train or car). Other places which are worth to visit like Konigstein fortress or a stone bridge in Bastei are also not far from this place. I'd like to recomend stay in Piran in Ferienwohnung Elbtraum to others also because of owner who is very helpful.
A wonderful place and wonderful hosts. We spent a few days in Saxony with a group of friends, staying at the Hotel Brückenschänke in Sebnitz. Thanks to Barbara and Andreas, the owners of the hotel, we felt like family. Place,staff, apartments.. everything is just perfect. If you need something just call to Tanja ,if you don't speak German , it's not a problem because Tanja speak English . Near the place is "netto" (about 4 km and Lidl less than 10 ) it's good spot to travel to Prague and Dresden. And of course Saxony national park and Konigstain fortress
Meißen
Perfect location overlooking the Elbe valley. A very well-kept and tastefully furnished apartment. Nice terrace at the foot of the vineyard with a great view. Well-equipped kitchen (no microwave), clean bathroom, excellent wifi signal. Very nice owner. I recommend this place to relax in the heart of beautiful Saxony :)
A very cozy hotel near a neat castle with a woods area that opened up into a beautiful valley view. Quiet, clean and the themed rooms were fun. The staff were wonderful and always had a smile on their face. I traveled with my dog and it’s in a great location to explore Saxony and the National Park.
The apartment was very cozy and amazing, the owner prepared everything with a welcome chocolate and flower and lighting, she talked with me all the time like she is a best friend and wanted to make sure that we are ok, the view and the place is the best in saxony.
Königstein an der Elbe
Very cozy hotel, which has many areas and equipment for recreation. Great for families wanting to do some hiking in Saxony Switzerland. Breakfast was plentiful and offered varied choices. Also like that they offer filtered/sparking water unlimited.
The apartments are situated at a great location in the middle of Bad Schandau which is great for discovering the many gems of Saxony. The children enjoyed the plunge pool and the sauna was lovely. Breakfast was good and plentiful.

Very nice, comfortable and quite apartment! It has a good location that allows easily reach by car Dresden and other beautiful Saxony‘s sightseeings. The host is very kind and helpful.

Beautiful place with view to lake, few meters from beach and rollskate road around lakes. Shared room bor bikes and very nice stuff helps you with everything.
The park is located in a beautiful area with many options for nature lovers, but also many kids friendly attractions even in winter. The house was very comfortable overall and extremely clean. We were several families with adjacent homes and it was very comfortable. The pool (included in price) is a few minutes away by foot. It is also well maintained and we loved the Solebad and the water temperature. there is a kids club, you can also take books and games. On Silvester there was a very nice program for families with a puppet show, music, camp fire and a few food stands for everyone with no additional cost. The staff was attentive, and came to fix the light in the bathroom very quickly. Overall it seems wonderful for summer with the lake and climbing forest which we were not able to use due to weather.
Friendly greeting from the staff upon arrival, very helpful in advising of the resources/faciliites available. Room was a good size, ensuite bathroom and a small balcony with a view of the lake. Advised by the staff that a party was being held in the restaurant that evening, and offered an upgrade to a small house due to expected noise levels. The small house was lovely, a short walk away from the main hotel. The house contained a small kitchen and suana, with a private patio and beach area at the rear. We visited in off season for this resort, as we were passing through Germany. The resolt offers plenty of activities and a relaxing places. All staff were friendly and polite. Restuarant food, drinks, and service was exceptional.
Perfect location to be the scenery ans bastei bridge
Lake view is top. Also you can swim in the lake. Modern and well-equipped hotel, friendly staff. Pretty calm and silent audience.
