I highly recommend the house-made hazelnut schnapps. I wish I could have bought a bottle. It is 150 meters from the small village center. We had nice drinks and cakes there.

Papstdorf
Great location, spacious living room and well equipped kitchen. Windows had insect screens, so it was easy to keep a window open at night. Playground (slide and swing) on the premises was great for our 2 year old. Easy to drive to. There is a bus connection to the village as well, not sure how often it runs (we saw it regularly, so I guess around every hour maybe?). Some great hikes can be done straight from the apartment, and with a short car ride there are plenty more. Very good place to explore Saxon Switzerland.
Pirna
We had a very enjoyable experience in this apartment. It was clean, quiet, warm, comfortable, well equipped and located. In fact, I have not had a better bed on my travels. I would happily have stayed much longer than the 5 days I was there as the city of Pirna has a lot to offer. It is only a 20 minute train ride to Dresden and only 20 minutes to Bad Schandau and the Saxon Switzerland national park. The owners were very attentive to our needs. Wifi worked well. I recommend this apartment highly
Rathmannsdorf
Very spacious and clean apartment. Can easily accommodate 6 people (it was just 3 of us). Kitchen is very well equipped. Looks better in reality than in pictures. We especially liked the paintings of the local places of interest. Bad Shandau with its shops, restaurants and wellness centre is within walking distance, though we preferred going by bike. A perfect place from where to explore Saxon Switzerland.
Pirna
We stayed in the apartment with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with a bathtub. It is a lovely, spacious, and comfortable apartment with a well-equipped kitchen. Well located not far from the center of Pirna and the attractions of Saxon Switzerland are easily accessible by car. Lidl supermarket with a good bakery just opposite the place. Friendly and nice hosts.
Reinhardtsdorf
The apartment is prettier than on the pictures. It was well-equipped, and super clean. If one would like to discover Saxon Switzerland, this place could be a great choice as it is located close to everything, even to the bus station. We were provided with a guest card which allowed us to use the nearby bus route and ferry for free.
Waltersdorf
The location of the Gamrigblick Haus is ideal and you can easily get to most of the hiking trails of Saxon Switzerland. There is a calming silence on the site and in its surroundings, and the apartment is perfect equipped. An additional advantage is the cleanliness of the apartment, free parking and available grill.
Papstdorf
Fantastic modern refurbishment and development of a historic Frau House into holiday apartments. The quality of the workmanship, styling and eye to detail are very impressive. The location and proximity to sights in Saxon Switzerland are ideal and the area is very beautiful. We should have stayed here for more days.
Bad Schandau
The place is a perfect starting point for visiting the exceptional places in Saxon Switzerland. The city of Bad Schandau is small and charming. Also, we liked the Toscana Spa Center. There are enough activities to stay for a week or more. The apartment itself is large enough, comfortable, and well decorated.
Nice apartment with all the amenities you would need for your stay. Big kitchen, living room and bedroom. Nice view on the garden, parking place. It's located on the outskirts of Seibnitz. Good starting point for Bad Schandau, Dresden, and all the hiking trails in Saxon Switzerland.

Apartmenthaus Luise is lovely - spacious, clean and very comfortable with a nice view from the balcony (see the forest and tram photo) - which is perfect for breakfast. Easy to get to some amazing Saxon Switzerland walks and views.
Lovely location for walks in the forrest and exploringing Saxon Switzerland. The hotel has some old fashioned charm. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great - although 500m away.
