Hotel Hochseeinsel is located on the scenic North Sea island Helgoland. The hotel is 800 m from Helgoland jetty, an easy ferry ride from Helgoland Düne island and the German mainland. A definite perfect choice. A small but fully faciliated hotel. The location is absolutely convenient, close to the both two harbours. The room is clean, cute and has everything you need. The breakfast was surprisingly good. The canteen faces right to the east at the sea, from where you can watch the sunrise and enjoy the early warm.

This family-run guest house on the Island of Helgoland overlooks the North Sea and is just a minute’s walk to the sandy beach. Guests enjoy a fresh breakfast buffet every morning. Tasty breakfast, nice collection of fresh items. A very comfortable ambience for all guests. You can go to the kitchen at any time and grab any items you like, for instance bottle of wine or some snacks.

Our balcony room facing the harbor was the perfect location for our stay. The room was very clean and comfortable. Staff members were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast, offered at an extra cost, was delicious and plentiful. A wonderful experience!

This hotel is situated on the car-free island of Heligoland. It features a terrace with views of the North Sea, and the sandy beach is just 100 metres away. The location was great and the view of the water was nice. The place was clean, comfortable and spacious and just like it was represented online. AND the lady at the desk when we checked in was exceptional. She professionally handled grumpy guests checking in ahead of us who complained about everything. Also, on checking out, she gave us the option of paying at a different hotel, that was run by the same people, that did take credit cards. !!AND!! we left very important medication in the refrigerator, which she personally ran over to us while we were paying at the other hotel—this more than makes up for anything I wrote in the “What didn’t you like?”! Thank you so much!
