Bahia is a great location, right on the beach. The rooms were very clean and nicely decorated, not that big but there were three of us. The staff were amazing and very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

Super comfortable and private. The staff was always kind and ready to help. The location is amazing, just a 3min walk away from the beach. The food was incredible as well.

Finca Avellanas se găsește în Playa Avellana, la 2 km de Plaja Avellanas, și are o grădină și parcare privată gratuită. This place is definitely to rest and recharge. The A.C. in the room was awesome and the beds out of this world; king size and super comfy. The pool is also refreshing and Daniela the girl that tour us the place is very sweet. However, if you are looking for luxury and resort like activities, this is not the place for you, but for people that are looking for a place to be in peace and comfortable this is it.

Situated in Sámara, 1 km from Samara Beach, Tuki Tuki Lodge offers accommodation with a terrace and free private parking. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk and room service for guests. JP is an excellent host and made us feel right at home. He and Hazel were very accommodating and keep the place very clean. The pool and bar area are awesome and Hazel made great breakfast every morning and did our laundry.

The pool is a gorgeous place to relax and the grounds are laden with lush tropical flowers and vegetation. The location is amazing - Avellanas beach is a short walk away, and so are many great restaurants, including Barumis (burgers), Lola’s, La Parruja, and La Esquina, a community space with tacos, sushi, cocktails and other tasty food (visit the public market there on Friday nights for local vendors and live music). You can also walk next door and get some gelato! Owners Yael and Roee are the ultimate hosts and will ensure your stay is as perfect as possible. You really are part of the family when you’re here. And a Soul Shine review wouldn’t be complete without mentioning their delicious brunch! This place serves up some of the best food you’ll find in the area – even in all of Costa Rica. Authentic menu items such as shakshuka, Gypsy King, falafels and avocado toast are all served hot and fresh with crispy salad and yummy tapas on the side. The fresh bread is served warm and melts in your mouth! Muchas gracias to the owners from Hotel Casa Carlota. The Hotel is near from Tamarindo, but you may be need a car to go there. For us it was perfect far away from the trouble. But its close to a supermarket. The room was very clean and we had enough space. You also have a fridge and a coffeemachine. We used the kitchen outdoor in the cooking area for the breakfast. There‘s also a swimmingpool, which was cleaned everyday. The owners are very friendly and they also give us good suggestions. We absolutely loved our stay here. The garden and wooden apartment are so beautiful and cosy. Everything well maintained. The swimming pool was really great given the temperatures and humidity in the rainy season. The host Maité is so kind as well and any questions are quickly answered. We didn’t realise when making our booking that there are only two apartments so there is a lot of privacy and quiet though the host lives on the property too so always nearby if needed. The walk to town is definitely doable (about 20min) which we did a couple of times but a car is convenient as well. We saw howler monkeys in the trees nearby, lots of birds, coatis and lizards nearby and there lives a scarlet macaw and crocodiles nearby (which unfortunately we didn’t get to see). In short: just book it, you won’t regret.
