Lovely view. Great in-room amenities like espresso machine or Aromatherapy brand shampoo/conditioner. Very nice and helpful staff. I loved the bar "Le Manoir Ling" and the gentleman working there recommended a nice gin. I would also recommend taking a walk by the river on the other side of the hotel.

The location was amazing. I wished that my room was facing The Bund but I really liked my room and therefore stayed in it. The staff was so kind to even offer to change rooms, in case there was something available.

The location is perfect for exploring the city, with Nanjing Road nearby and just a 5-minute walk to People's Square metro station. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped, and the staff is very helpful. The breakfast is delicious, offering a variety of fresh and rich foods. Great location, very charm. Beautiful lobby cafe and the bar on third floor, the Rose Café for breakfast, all very nice. Hotel offered upgraded room because I requested a very quiet room, everything was good.
Having been going to Shanghai in the past 20 years and have stayed at many five star hotels, I now think Puli Hotel & Spa is my favourite hotel for its impeccable facilities and thoughtful service. The staff is always welcoming and helpful, from the bell boys to receptionists to bar tenders. Also, I had the best margarita mixed by Eden, a brilliant, young and pleasant mixologist at the bar.
