This will be my top pick for the next visit.

Stella and her colleague are very kind to offer us a late check out since my parents are above 70 years old and they needed to take a nap before a long haul flight. The lovely guy on reception gave me a great dinner recommendation, then went above and beyond to post some items to my next stop that I’d left behind! So helpful, generous and kind. Hotel is in close proximity to the tourist spots, and I highly recommend staying in the beautiful spot of you have a long layover in Xiamen!
