It's a bit away from the Interlaken Ost but the bus runs every 30 minutes to take you to and from the train station. The hotel is very close to the bus stop and after you get off the bus, it's quite easy to find the hotel as well. The view from the balcony of the room was amazing. The staff was friendly and helpful. I'll definitely stay here again if I ever return to the Interlaken area.

Great base to explore the Bernese Oberland. Very convenient to access Wengen, Murren, Lauterbrennan via train yet big enough town that it had a supermarket, plenty of restaurants and hotels. Still it remains quaint and lovely.
I had not been to Wegen in 45 yeas and of course it had changed. I was there in off season but it seems to have evolved intio a high end ski town. No more small dairy farmers on their steep hillside plots. Still, it was a great place to visit when doing the Bernese Oberland.
Great location for the Bernese Oberland. I only hope that I am fortunate enough to return to this beautiful region. Lauterbrunnen has a casual small village feel, while having enough restaurants and transportation options available to make an ideal base for touring the region. In two and a half days, we were able to see Trummelbach Falls, the top of the Schilthorn, hike between Murren and Gimmelwald, took the train to Kline Schiedegg, and continued by train to Grindelwald. We avoided the crowds going to Jungfrau as we already had a perfect day at Schilthorn. The views of the Lauterbrunnen valley are truly spectacular.

Interlaken is a great place for exploring the bernese Oberland. However, mass tourism has transformed the town and made it quite annoying.
Spectacular Views Great restaurants Very easy to use transportation to get to other places in the Bernese Oberland Activities Galore in the Bernese Oberland Murren is an excellent place to get away from it all.
Wengen is an excellent choice as home base to explore the Bernese Oberland. Trains up the mountains to Kleine Scheidegg and Jungfraujoch or down the mountains to Lauterbrunnen for connections to Grutschalp and Shilthorn, or Grindelwald in the neighboring valleyare frequent and convenient. Many different and little restaurants, but some are pricey. The trail down from Kleine Scheidegg offers wonderful views of the Eiger, Monch, and Jungfrau above as well as Wengen below, but it is steep and consistently downhill and takes it's toll on the ankles and knees! 4 days turned out to be perfect to provide us with at least 2 good days of weather for trips to the Jungfraujoch and the Shilthorn, however it might not work that well for everybody!
I stayed here last year and visited this year. this town is centrally located to the Bernese Oberland mountains. Easy access to mountains and Lauterbrunnen Valley. Lots of hotel options, along with restaurants, shops etc. Very convenient train options both Interlaken OST & Interlaken West. Pretty town, but very touristy. stay here for convenience.
There isn't a lot to do in Interlaken itself, however, it's a great place to use as a base for day trips in the Bernese Oberland and even to Zermatt.
Beatenberg
This was one of the best properties I have stayed in. It’s spacious plus the view from balcony to Bernese oberland mountains is just stunning. Small details in apartment like cd player, egg holder, couch throw were amazing and made us feel home. This property is part of Dorint hotel group in Beatenberg. This is 20-25 mins bus ride away from Interlaken west bus station. Beatenberg doesn’t have too many restaurants or grocery store so better buy them in interlaken itself. This is good for quaint stay.
A comfortable hotel, ideal for visiting that part of the Bernese Oberland, with a good car park. Only a five minute walk to the railway station and bus stop and, with the free local transport ticket provided (also giving discounts at some local attractions), there was no need to use the car locally. Excellent restaurant in the hotel for dinner, and a good quality breakfast.
The spa facilities were amazing, it was super dog friendly. Perfect locations for walking and relaxing. Beautiful little town to explore, and close to all the amazing sites in Bernese oberland for a day trip. The food at the hotel was really delicious, and the staff was super helpful!!
Mürren
Amazing location with great Alpen view. Very clean room and premises. The breakfast provided was freshly made and very tasty. Above all, Jeanette was the best hostess ever. She made us feel home! We will highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Bernese Oberland area.

Beautiful location surrounded by mountains - a perfect base when exploring the Bernese Oberland by car. The apartment was clean and beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked - perfect if you plan to cook (eating out in Switzerland can be very expensive).
EVERYTHING IS PERFECT - the staff, the room, the service, the location, the view, and one of the best restaurants in Bernese Oberland. I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. Been here before and will always come back if I stay in Kandersteg.

This being our second time at Victoria was extra special, cos we were celebrating a special occasion there and i must say from the start of booking they took care of each and every tiny details told. From the surprise cake to the spa all were perfectly executed . we loved it all! The staffs were really friendly and helpful both at the restaurant & the pool , the pool being the highlight of it all! My little one had a great time there ! The location being in the center and with a view so magnificent also with a park at the front , gave us the perfect staycation we needed as family. Thankyou
