Everything was just awesome. The staff is incredibly nice, Spha (the chef) is an amazing cook! My wife is a celiac, she can`t eat gluten, and they manage to prepare her even gluten-free bread, cake and pasta!! The game/boat drives we had were the best ones we`ve had, by far. Kabo, our guide, managed to find every animal we wanted to see (even leopard and hyenas) and somehow was able to answer every question we threw at them. The tents are amazing: you would think that given that it`s tents you`d find a lot of bugs, but we didn`t see a single bug inside our tent during our 3-days in the hotel. The balcony view from our room was just overlooking the river, and we manage to see buffalos, impalas and hippos just passing by. We were even woken up one day by monkeys knocking on the roof and the walls! As a bonus, the internet connection works well, even from the rooms and the borderless pool overlooking the river is also great. We had 3 amazing days at Jackalberry!!

My 10 rating goes straight to the staff of this Lodge. They were amazing, friendly, helpful and nothing was to much for them. We could even hand in laundry before we checked in, our rooms were moved to accommodate us. The rooms were immaculate. Safe secure parking and we had a lovely inhouse dinner and delicious breakfast. We will be back, for sure. Thank you.

Merece la pena el crucero por el río Chobe al atardecer. Buena base para visitar las cataratas Victoria y Chobe sin cambiar de hotel.

En Chobe River Cottage estuvimos 3 noches y la verdad que fue una maravilla. Pudimos disfrutar de la tranquilidad que ofrecía este espacio. Tenía una piscina que estaba bastante limpia, a pesar de que no la usamos. El apartamento disponía de una habitación con cama de matrimonio muy grande y un sofá cama en el comedor. La cocina estaba totalmente equipada. Teniamos una barbacoa en la terraza y tendedero. Había buena cobertura wifi.

Las casitas estaban equipadas con todo lo necesario. Muy limpio y nuevo. El desayuno era muy bueno. Desde el propio hotel puedes hacer excursiones por la mañana dentro de Chobe y la excursión en barco. También puedes hacer el Transfer a las cataratas Victoria
El hotel ofrece una excelente relación calidad-precio. Con un ambiente encantador y acogedor, todo está impecablemente limpio. Dispone de restaurante, donde la comida es sabrosa, eso si, los precios son europeos. El personal es muy profesional y atento, aunque algo distante. Su ubicación es inmejorable: a solo 5 minutos a pie se encuentra un excelente restaurante italiano que se come muy bien, un supermercado Spar de gran tamaño con una amplia variedad de productos, cajeros automáticos y diversas tiendas.
Everybody is exseptionally friendly and has always a smile- Lesley who supported us whenever asked, the kitchen team, who cooked 3 times a great dinner for us and Boa with immediate positive response. We felt very happy to be there! Thank you to everybody!
A well facilitated, cosy property with everything you need for a short or long term stay. Outlook and wildlife viewing over the Chobe floodplain amazing. Friendly helpful hosts. Very good value.
Staff: super supportive. One of the member of our party injured, and Cresta staff immediately checked her status, then suggested us the solutions (private doctor or public hospital) then someone escorted us to the doctor then the pharmacy. Food: extremely rich breakfast, fantastic selection of foods for dinner. All the three evenings the staff congratulated to the guests who had anniversary with some folk-dance and singing improvized. The park: everywhere warthogs, some bushbucks, banded mongooses and cheeky vervets (be careful, they are stealers!) Rooms: cosy Programs: there is a travel office on site, and they organize trips to Vic Falls, Chobe Game Reserve and boat cruises on Chobe River.
Amazing,friendly staff that went out of their way, to make our stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible. The food was delicious and top level. Tshidi, OT, Sarah, Martha,Cherry, you are all awesome.
Lovely River view. Amazing personal service by Sofia and the team. Nothing was too much trouble… from arranging super river cruise and game drives to transfers, taxis, restaurant bookings etc. Delicious treats and safari tea too! Catered to our vegetarian needs well.
This is a budget backpacker-type hostel, with a fantastic layout, loads of character, and very well-maintained. I stayed in the stand-alone chalet tent, really airy, bright, and private, facing the pool, although it does get hot in the summer. The place has a kitchen all guests can use, nice swimming pool, great electrical, lighting, wifi, and is super clean. Staff is very warm and welcoming as well. Place is in Kazungulu, not Kasane, so further away from the Chobe park entrance, but then closer to the border with Zambia and Zimbabwe. It is also too far too walk from any town centre, so you need to take a cab to commute.
Small family business in the center of the village a bit aside from the main road with few rooms and pool. Walking distance to main mall. Very friendly host and personnel. Just show up and they'll take care of the rest of your stay. They organize all transfers (Victoria Falls) and attractions at good price (game drives, boat cruises etc.). However they don't communicate it in the welcome message once booked. Pity. I didn't know that before the arrival so I booked all my activities elsewhere in advance. However I wish I had used their offers. Very good stay. Fully recommended!
This place is located close to lodges and restaurants. It also has multiple rooms for larger groups.
