Great location for exploring Albanian Riviera. Nice base for day trips to north (beaches, mountains, castles) , east (Gjirokaster) and south (beaches of Ksamil and ruins at Butrint) and return to lively waterfront in Sarande during evening.
It is a good point to start your trip along the Albanian riviera. I would try to avoid staying in Sarandë for anything other than sleeping or eating and I would rent a car to explore the coast between Sarandë and Vlorë, which is beautiful.
A quiet resort on the Albanian Riviera a perfect location to go and relax. There are great views down the coast and of Corfu. It has a good beach and the water is lovely to swim in. There are nice bars and several restaurants on the promenade.
I was a bit disappointed with Ksamil It is a dirty place with no infrastructure whatsoever The next stay during my journey across Albania was in Dhermi, and I really regretted for not staying longer in Dhermi and omitting Ksamil at all. Its my bad, did not do the pre-journey research right. All that is worth it there is Butrint - this is a must-visit, indeed! But then if you'd like to enjoy the Albanian Riviera, I'd recommend you choose a place anywhere between Lukove and Dhermi, incl., and not stay in Ksamil or Sarande (unless you like overcrowded and dirty resorts/towns) Next time I will know!
Sarande is the best resort on the Albanian Riviera. Easy for a trip to Corfu.

Perfect centre to explore Albanian riviera. Sea and mountain views wonderful. Like a lot of Albania towns you have to appreciate that there are run down areas. This shouldnt spoil the enjoyment of a wonderful country of friendly people. One hopes for their sakes that the run down areas become a thing of the past
Saranda is probalbly the city with the best structure at Albanian Riviera, so it's a good place to stay there and use it as base to explore the other beaches, but it's not the most beautiful beach in Albania
Ksamil beaches are nice but crowdy. You can find nicest places on Albanian riviera.
I felt very welcomed by Vinny who was very friendly and helpful both in person and through messages. The campsite is clean and pretty and was the best value for money in my whole trip (I traveled around a lot). Free breakfast with a good range of things (feta, tomatoes, cucumber, then eggs, sausage and beans, delicious Albanian donuts, jam, cereal and unlimited coffee). Great pizza on sale too, best I've ever eaten! Nice access to beach and bars, although I found them v expensive in Jal compared to other places on the Albanian riviera.
The accommodation is one of the best we have ever stayed in. We love the Albanian Riviera and the accommodation is in one of the best locations to explore it. Beautiful surroundings, very nice people, tranquility, stress free well being. What more do you need? The kindness of our hosts created a family atmosphere. My family and I had a wonderful time at Sunset Boulevard. This is a family owned hotel and it surely is a labor of love. I wanted to show my husband and my 2 and 5 year old girls the Albanian Riviera and this was the perfect place. The beach was just a few steps away making this the perfect location for families with kids like ours. The view from the cafe and our room was just gorgeous and they do make the best cocktails. We will certainly be back whenever we return to Albania.

The location of the studio is unique. A few meters above the sea with a wonderful panoramic view. There can be blackouts in Qeparo when it rains, so a flashlight and candles are essential. There was a double booking of the studio for 2 days, but Alexandra took care of an alternative. Qeparo is a good base to explore the beaches and mountains of the Albanian Riviera. Ani and his mum are super-friendly hosts, and Vila Ani is a unique place located in a corner on the road going through the so-called "Albanian Riviera". Ani speaks very good English, and you can communicate with his mum in Greek. They run many other activities besides holiday homes. They made excellent local products olive oil, figs, lemons and honey. I would wholeheartedly recommend taking some of them home

Our stay at Salt n Blue Villa in Green Coast Resort, Palasë, was absolutely perfect. The villa offered breathtaking views of the Ionian Sea and was impeccably furnished with modern amenities. The location was ideal for exploring the stunning Albanian Riviera, and the owners were friendly and attentive. I highly recommend Salt n Blue Villa for a relaxing and unforgettable getaway.

Our favorite hotel on the Albanian riviera! if you are looking just like us for a quite and laidback spot, this is the place ! Our room was big , and clean, with a magnificent view on the sea and the mountains. The owners are a really nice family . They prepared us every night a good dinner . There is a beautiful wild/uncrowded beach just 5/10 minutes walking .
A perfect and wonderful place for a vacation! Waking up to an incredible sea view was something we adored, and we are still recalling that view. The breakfast was excellent, and the fine dining restaurant offered some delicious seafood and wines. If you’re coming by car, the hotel is very well connected to the rest of the Albanian Riviera. Highly recommended!!
The Dhori house was a pleasant stay. The host was very helpful offering suggestions in the area, and having the parking on site was great. It’s not right on the waters edge or right in the village of Dhermi, so it is best you have a car when staying here (or along the whole Albanian Riviera, it’s helpful). The roof view was just beautiful!
Super swimming pool, 5 minutes sway from Bunec Beach (happily the sole not over-crowded beach on the Albanian riviera 😋). No more than 40 minutes away from Butrint or Porto Palermo, restaurants and supermarkets nearby in Lukove. Perfect place to rest and enjoy! Sunset is amazing

Lukovë
It was our second family stay at Eduard's. The apartments and the host are a compliment to the Albanian Riviera. Sadly we had to cut our latest visit short due to unforeseen circumstances and Eduard was quite understanding.
Great host that made us feel at home and recommended local beaches and restaurants. The views are amazing, certainly one of the best areas of the Albanian Riviera! Oh, and a lovely fruit garden just outside your veranda!

We were worried about the pool but it was great pool (salt water) also there is a huge waterpark that is days from being open ( in mid august it was still closed) The private beach is excellent. 4 minutes walking distance there are a lot of restaurants. Breakfast included is ok, not the best, but overall excellent value for the money
