This is a great family run hotel just a minute away from Sarandë seaside promenade. The hotel is modern and decorated with taste. It has a lovely small pool and a lot of rooms have a great sea view. The room was very clean and cleaned every day, drinking water complimentary every day. Comfortable beds, good wifi, modern bathrooms, tasty breakfast on the rooftop terrace. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. All the beaches and cafés/restaurants are in a walking distance. Great for vacation only to recommend!

Clean rooms, good beds, very friendly and service-minded staff. Each room has a designated set of umbrella/sunbeds assigned to it, so you avoid the usual morning race to reserve sunbeds. Very good idea!

Lovely flat promenade along side the public beaches with shops, bars and restaurants running the full length. The beach is pebble rather than sand but the sea in the main is very clean and inviting.
A variety of eating options available from fast food through to high end restaurants all offering a great selection of dishes,
Lots of boat trips on offer and a variety of historic sites to see around the resort, we used Albania Minivan Tours with Ilir our guide, it was a brilliant day with lots of historical information and more recent insite into Albania and the area, would highly recommend.
Local bus service is reliable and inexpensive and good for getting along the coast, a visit to Ksamil is worthwhile, very pretty with sandy beaches and turquoise seas although be prepared to hire a sunbed and umbrella as all beaches are completely covered with no space left to accomodate a towel.
The biggest downside to Sarande is once leaving the promenade you have to be prepared for hills and steps, I would not recommend it to anyone very elderly, infirmed or disabled, it is very hard to get around.

There are wonderful beaches and lovely hills there.
There are wonderful beaches and lovely hills there. Nature is beautiful. You can find some wavy and calm waters as well. Many services are available (good restaurants, watersports). You normally pay for the umbrella and two sunbeds but get a service in return. With a car, you have many options; when you are sick of the water, you can visit nice spots and cities. The fruits are tasty, the traditional, and the seafood is great for a reasonable price. People speak in English well. You can manage most of the payments in Euros. I loved Gjiri i Hartes Beach (good spot for children), Ksamil (with the small islands) and the Mirror Beach (for the waves, and EU mobile network because of the nearby Korfu :D).

Albania is good value for money, although like everywhere prices are going up. Lots of choices of bars and restaurants and you can pay high end. or fairly cheap. Sarande doesn't seem like it has yet created the infrastructure to cater for the mass of tourists that are now visiting. Bins are small, inadequate and overflowing, and litter is piled up around them. It is a port, so the beaches were very rocky and not at all user friendly. We found the capital city of Tirana much more interesting and enjoyable, but it depends what you want from a vacation.

I am disappointed.
I am disappointed. In two stores, they tried to cheat us when they saw that we were foreign tourists by trying to charge us more than the real price of the product. Payment cards are not accepted, and where it is possible to pay by card, the bill must be greater than 10 euros. They need to work a lot on the general culture and attitude towards tourists.

Sarande is ok if you like crowded places, beaches that over charge and expensive restaurants that provide not very good food. We did find two good eating places that were reasonable near to our hotel.
Beware! A lot of shops and restaurants will only accept CASH! With prominent warnings before you go in and in the menus.
We did feel like we were being ripped off most of the time, taxis in particular quoting fares in Euros at double the metered rate, and only dropping their price when quibbling.
Our Hotel tried to force us to pay in CASH and only “found” the card machine when we refused.
I had an amazing experience at this fantastic hotel! The location couldn't have been better, as it was conveniently close to Saranda's top beaches. The rooms were super fresh. What makes this place truly special is that it's family-owned, and the staff was incredibly kind and accommodating throughout my visit. I highly recommend this charming hotel to anyone looking for a delightful stay in Saranda. It definitely deserves 5 stars!
The hotel is perfectly located in Saranda. You can get to everything by foot. The port was also very closeby so if you’re planning on going to Durres or Corfu this is ideal. The staff was very friendly and let us leave our luggage at check-out since our ferry was leaving later. Our room was very clean and comfortable as well. The breakfast was also pretty good for hotel standards.
I had a wonderful stay at this family hotel in Saranda. It's a perfect choice , offering simplicity while fulfilling all our needs. Finding parking was a always easy and free, and the personal touch of it being a family-owned hotel added to the charm. Special thanks to Elona, a local who provided excellent recommendations for our trip.
