Chris and Roxy became my family for a week. the house is very beautiful, clean and has a beautiful garden. Bus stop a few steps away, very useful for me as I didn't rent a car. The kitchen is super equipped and always clean, same thing for the bathroom. Room with a very comfortable bed and equipped with every comfort, same thing for the living room and other common areas! Staying with Chris and Roxy was very nice, more than the owners of the property, they are friends who open their doors to you and help you make and enjoy your stay on the Big Island in the best possible way! I highly recommend it to everyone and above all don't be limited by the fact that there is a dog in the house, Roxy is very sweet and good! Definitely if I were to return to Hawaii one day, I would still choose to stay with Chris and Roxy!

This place is so magical it’s like being in a fairies garden! The place is private and tucked away, at night time it is illuminated by hundreds of fairy lights and you can see the Milky Way above and listen to the thousands of little frogs and geckos- it was like being in another world. We will definitely be coming back!

If you are looking for something special and unique, this is the place you should go. It‘s really MAGICAL, as its name. In the middle of a lava field, nature around you :)

Honomu'da Kolekole Beach Park'a 2,1 km ve Pasifik Tsunami Müzesi'ne 19 km mesafede yer alan THE HONOMU HOUSE - Gorgeous, Spacious 4Bd2Ba Home near Waterfalls and Hilo, Sleeps 12! Location and facilities. We are a volleyball team and wanted a large room where girls could stay together. Also large living area and wrap around deck for leisure time. Girls were comfortable here and staff had plenty room too. Full kitchen facilities and dining area were ample. Easy check in and check out process. Jade and her team left us an aloha message with a nice box of chocolates. Communication with rental staff was excellent. Beautiful place for rest and relaxation! Mahalo nui

The porch and view are amazing. The big double doors that open from the living area were wonderful. There were toys and games for the kids. I would recommend this stay to anyone, especially families.

As soon as I entered the door, my daughter said: I like the design style of this house very much. The large floor window looks like a tree full of flowers. The interior decoration is simple and generous, and the sliding door in the bedroom is very creative. I feel that the owner is a warm, intimate and loving person.
